My Favourite Products For Under Eye Area: Eye Creams + Concealers

If you follow me on Instagram, you have already seen this photo, and my promise  of the feature. So here it is…

Actually, believe it or not, but usually I don’t care about dark circles (on myself, not when I am doing someone’s makeup), unless they really look that bad. But when I do want to look flawless, here is what I do.

Best eye creams and concealers YSL benefit Clarins FOM London Makeup4all

First of all, I use a good eye cream, for me it has to be a moisturizing balm, as I have very dry skin. I love  Clarins Special Eye Contour Balm Dry Skin (review) and FOM London Revitalising Eye Care Balm (read about it), I leave it for some time while I am getting ready, and afterwards the following products are being used:

Benefit Erase Paste Concealer (review and swatches)

It is a great concentrated creamy product that counteracts the blue tones because of the it’s peachy colour. Although the texture is rather thick, it doesn’t enhance any fine lines, unless you use too much.  One of my favourite products ever.

YSL Touche Eclat (review and swatches)

When I just want to highlight the under eye area a bit – this cult product is my weapon of choice. It doesn’t really conceal much, but reflects the light nicely and gives you this beautiful brightening effect. Just don’t use a very light shade. Touche Eclat could be also used on top on such products, as Erase Paste.

Clarins Instant Concealer (review and swatches)

My favourite under eye concealer. Instant is  a perfect name for it. It makes you look as if you did get at least 8 hours of sleep, covers perfectly but still has a great formula that feels light, doesn’t get in the lines and doesn’t crease, when used as a thin layer.

And what are your favourite tricks?
