My Top 5 Beauty Tips for a Beach Holiday

I am getting ready for a holiday, and here is the list of the things, beauty related, that I did. I thought I’d share with you, too. And, hopefully, some of you will find it helpful.

1.  Waxing appointment.

This is crucial. The last thing that you want on your holiday is to think about the unwanted hair.

2. Shellac

Same for the manicure. I don’t want to worry about my nails not looking nice, plus I won’t have to take all the extra nail care products. More space for shopping!

3. Tint eye brows and lashes. Extensions.

If you are a person that just can’t be without makeup, even on the beach, I did a post just for you. But if you, like myself, don’t think that is necessary –  tinted brows and lashes is the way to go.  You could also try lash extensions. But not the best idea to try them for the first time before your holiday, as it may be unusual, and you don’t need any more stress in your life when you are getting ready. And please, don’t pack tonnes of makeup products with you.

4. Protect Your Skin

Don’t forget to take sun protection products for your face and body. They also do those for hair now, too. Although I prefer a hat  myself, that may be something nice to try. You can buy Phyto and Sachajuan from Cult Beauty, for e.g.

After-sun beauty products  are a must-have, as well.  They help to sooth and calm down the skin. And, no, I am not suggesting that you should stay in the sun for hours…

5. Perfume

Pick one perfume, and use it all the time, while on a holiday, that way it will  remind you  later of the special moments you’ve once had. For example, my perfume of choice in 2012 was Jo Malone’s Blackberry and Bay and last  year it was Le Soft Perfume Rock.  This year it will be Creed, I think.

And do you have any tips to share?
