My Top 5 Pink Lipsticks: Givenchy, Dior, Rimmel, BECCA and Illamasqua
I love pink lipsticks, I really do. And I have quite a few, so I’ve decided to pick up five that I am loving at the moment to share with you!
Rimmel Colour Show Off Lipstick in Pink Gossip (full review and swatches)
I adore this lipstick line from Rimmel (and not only this one, I think they make the best affordable lipsticks). It has a nice texture, beautiful flattering warm toned pink shade and a matte finish, which I personally don’t find to be drying. In fact, I’ve used up half of this lipstick, if not more, and that says a lot. I only wish they had a different packaging but, I guess, most girls love pink…
Illamasqua Lipstick in Immodest (review and lip swatches)
Illamasqua do know how to make a lipstick that catches attention, this bright, pigmented, matte pink will brighten up any makeup look. Just make sure your lips are in perfect condition.
Givenchy Le Rouge Lipstick 302 Hibiscus Exclusif (review and lip swatches)
It is a very special lipstick for me, as I’ve got it for myself for my last Birthday. (My Birthday is in March, and this year I have already ordered Tom Ford’s lipstick, finally.) It is the most beautiful looking lip product ever created, and I don’t remember ever being so excited about anything else. Design, formula, colour, everything is perfect. I did a detailed review, so to find out more, just click the link above.
Dior Addict Lipstick in 561 Baby Rose (review and lip swatches)
Just as the Givenchy lipstick, this one is also pretty special for me. I remember that it was a time when almost every brand brought out their version of sheer lipstick, and this release with Kate Moss on the promo, was the most exciting for me. So I rushed out straight away to buy this Addict lipstick the day it was released. And I am still in love with this pretty everyday shimmering baby pink shade.
BECCA Ultimate Matte Lip Colour in Eloise (review and lip swatches)
Compared to other shades, this looks like a “nude-pink” shade, if that is even makes sense. I was excited when I first heard that BECCA brought out matte lipsticks, and I wasn’t disappointed. They come in sleek silver tube and look nice, in my opinion. I love applying it , and then dabbing with my finger for the most natural effect. It looks great with a dark/ smoky eye, and is a great alternative to nude.Liquid Lipsticks from Ciate and butter LONDON
