Nude Nail Polishes: Dior, Ciate, butter LONDON, Yves Rocher, Rimmel and MeMeMe
For someone who is not exactly into “nude” nail polishes, I have quite a few. I have chosen seven which could fit the nude/taupe/brown-ish category.
So what shades do I have? And which is my favourite?
Dior Vernis in Grege
I love the wide and thin brush which makes the application super easy and fast. It is a beautiful warm shade which suits me when I get some tan. But if you have a light-to-medium warm skin tone – this may be a perfect nude for you. See it applied on the nails.
MeMeMe Long Lasting Gloss in Alluring
This is one of the darkest nail polishes from the selection, and should be a nice nude for people with darker skin. Or if you want a brown nail polish against the light skin. The quality is nice for the price, too. Swatches.
Yves Rocher Nail Polish in Taupe
This is definitely not a nude, but a taupe. Such shade was super popular several years ago and I can totally see why: it goes well with pretty much everything and doesn’t compete with your outfit or accessories. Manicure with it.
MeMeMe Long Lasting Gloss in Ambitious
It looks like that I don’t have the swatches of this one, which is surprising, as it’s the first MeMeMe nail polish I’ve got. But I will definitely change that soon.
butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Yummy Mummy
A feature about this nail polish is actually one of the most viewed I have ever written. And I can totally see why, as it is a gorgeous taupe-ish shade with micro shimmer, a must-have for all the nude nail polish lovers. On my nails.
Ciate Paint Pot in Cookies and Cream
This one is my personal favourite!I’ve bought it after Lisa Eldrige’s recommendation actually. It is a light cool toned cream shade. In fact, I am wearing it, as I type. It looks very chic and sophisticated, in my opinion. I also really love wearing it as my pedicure colour, so I can wear any bright colour on my nails. Nails Of The Day.
Rimmel 60 Seconds in 710 Alaska
This is a sheer milky shade and you can wear one coat for the “glossy nails” effect or several shades for a more opaque look. Here is how I wear it.
