Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Hand Cream Review. Rave

Being a huge  Aromatherapy Associates fan I was happy to try their new hands cream. Especially considering that I am slightly obsessed with hand creams… Plus, I am also a rose  scented products addict, so this looked like a win-win situation.

Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Hand Cream ReviewI had  high expectations for this product, and it did not let me down.

I have very dry skin, and not all the products are doing that much for me. But this one does exactly what the brand promises: deeply nourishes,  hydrates, softens the skin, makes it smooth and silky.

Moreover, my friend had some serious issues, including a

Estelle & Thild Rose Otto Advanced Age Prevent Facial Oil and Rose Otto Advanced Age Prevent Serum Review

I don’t know how it happened that I have never written a review of two of my favourite skincare products (although I did mention them), that I, in fact, almost finished.

And I am talking about Estelle & Thild Rose Otto Advanced Age Prevent Facial Oil and Rose Otto Advanced Age Prevent Serum.

Estelle & Thild Rose Otto Advanced Age Prevent Facial Oil and Rose Otto Advanced Age Prevent Serum Review

Esthelle & Thild is a luxury organic Swedish brand (and I do love anything Swedish, of course) which was founded in 2007 by Pernilla Rönnberg, which she created with her daughters in mind, Estelle and Mathilde, hence the name. And how gorgeous does the lady herself look?

Esthelle & Thild Swedish Organic BrandAll the products are  Certified Organic by EcoCert, and the ingredients come from organic farms and local natural resources.

I personally am not necessarily a die-hard fan of organic products, but these I do love.

Why?

I have two products from the mature/dry Rose Otto range, and they both are fantastic!

Summer 2014: Guerlain Rouge G Rose Lip Color, NARS Dual intensity Shadows, Givenchy Prisme Libre

I usually post  about the new individual beauty products on Facebook but today I’ve decided to feature new lips, eyes and face makeup products in one post, as they all deserve attention! And I  personally love all three launches a lot.

As for the lips – Guerlain brought out two uber-gorgeous collector’s  Rouge G de Guerlain Rose Lip Color  lipsticks (£33/$54). There are two shades with the matching case: 864 Rose Grenat, velvety red-pink and  866 Rose Glace, nudish pink.

Guerlain Rouge G de Guerlain Rose Lip ColorAs for  the face – Givenchy released  a new  Poudre Première Universal Nude, £35

According to the press release  it “provides a veil of pure transparency for perfect mattness and unveiled natural radiance. The single shade perfectly suits every skin tone, from the lightest to the darkest complexions.”

The face of the line is the gorgeous Maria Carla Boscono.

Lush Shower Gels: Rose Jam, Prince Charming, Happy Hippy, Glogg and Grass

This weekend I’ve re-organized products in my bathroom and made a list of the  things that I need to pick up, mostly new shower gels and body creams, as I use those up rather quickly. I have noticed that I have five Lush shower gels, so decided to make a lill’ round up.

Lush Shower Gels Rose Jam, Prince Charming, Happy Hippy, Glogg and Grass

Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel (review)

This is my favourite one. While some people may find it too sweet and sugary, I am a huge fan, it smells just like rose jam and feels lovely on the skin, not drying at all.

Lush Glogg Shower Gel (review)

The other seasonal, LE one, which I really love, it is spicy and warm,  exactly what you need during the AW season.

Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base in 01 Rose Review and Swatches. Rave

During the last several weeks I had a lot of stress, did not sleep that well, plus I have to take some medicine for three months, among other things. Why am I even telling that? So that you can release that my skin doesn’t look fantastic, unfortunately.

That’s when lill’ things like Clarins’ Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base are like life complexion savers.

Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base in 01 Rose Review and SwatchesI actually have a lot of different bases but most of the times, I just skip this step altogether. But not now!

This is a  lightweight base that doesn’t feel greasy or oily on the skin, plus I’d say that is makes the skin softer (yes, I did touch it) and smoother. I don’t have particularly large pores  or major imperfections, but I would say that it definitely improves (visually) the look of the skin.

With my tired, glow-lacking, post-winter  complexion I can  really appreciate the
