Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Complexion Corrector Review. Rave

Since we are talking about the CC Creams today, I want to share about the one that I really love.

And it’s  the Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Complexion Corrector ($48 ) which I’ve got as a part of this set.

Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Complexion Corrector ReviewThere are three shades and I have  a Light/Medium – light beige for light to light-medium skin tones, and although it’s darker and warmer than my skin tone, I can still make it work.

The brand describes it as an “all-in-one antiaging treatment, sunscreen, complexion corrector, moisturiser, and tint.” And, I’d have to agree! This CC cream is brilliant.

It has an SPF 30 but feels incredibly light and absolutely non-greasy on the skin.  Complexion Corrector is a great name for this product, as it does give a

Beauty Wish List February 2014

I have quite a few products on my  beauty wish list, and I am constantly adding new things to my Pinterest board but today I’ve decided to share the things that are on top of my list. In fact, these are the things that I plan to buy in the near future. I may have even ordered some of them already 😉

By the way, I love looking at my old wish lists and seeing how many products I have already bought.

So here we go:

Skincare Products That Are Worth Having In Your Makeup Kit

These days most Make-Up Artists have all kinds of primers in their kits already but sometimes it is not enough.

I personally don’t think that a MUA needs to have all the skincare for ALL skin types, as that is too  much too heavy to carry around, plus that all is not cheap. After all, it is  not MUA’s responsibility and job to take care of someone’s face and MUAs are not dermatologists or skincare experts…

But sometimes a proper cream or lotion won’t hurt at all. I did have Malin & Goetz moisturizer in my kit just in case and sometimes I had to use it. But now, that it’s all used up,  I am trying to figure out what products to get.

I don’t want the skincare products to be very expensive but want them to be effective, at the same time. This is why I’ve have asked a person who does know skincare for the recommendations! So here is what Caroline Hirons  ( go read her blog!) suggests:

Do You Invest In a High End Deodorant?

I have started working out regularly. Plus it’s summer… So I’ve started thinking if it is worth investing in a more expensive deodorant.

I have been using Sure/ Rexona for years now and it never failed me. But maybe it is time to try something different?! I’d probably go for Clarins or Malin + Goetz.

I have asked your opinion on Twitter and turned out that other people don’t really know it, too . I’ll probably have to read more about this topic.

And what is your opinion? What deodorant do you use? Would you get an expensive one? What is the big difference? My guess is the ingredients.

Holidays Gift Gide: candles by Jo Loves, Daniel Sandler and Aromatherapy Associates

Candles always make a great gift and I have already written about some – Aqua di Parma, Malin + Goetz, and Jonathan Ward for example. So today I want to tell you about three other options!

In Love Candle by Daniel Sandler, £30 240g. get from urbanretreat.co.uk

‘In Love’ Candle by Daniel Sandler was created  in collaboration with Jonathan Ward. And as I like both brands (and men behind them), I am excited about this one!

The candle is made with organic soy wax and is hand-poured by Jonathan himself into hand-blown Italian crystal glass. the notes are some of the Daniel’s best loved aromas sandalwood, vanilla, light musk, amber, patchouli, clove, cardamom, violet, black pepper and sheer white floral that he is delighted to share with many.

Judging from the notes, it should be amazing!
