I don’t like using many mascaras at the same time because they all dry out too fast. So when I’ve finished two mascaras that were in my rotation, I’ve realized that it was time to try a new one. And I’ve decided to open the BECCA one which I’ve got with this set at winter.
You all know how much I love BECCA so I was very curious about their only mascara which is called The Ultimate Mascara and retails for £18. It is described as ”Advanced, water-resistant, micro-tubing mascara formula lengthens and thickens the lashes while a conical shaped brush curls, lifts and separates in one easy coat.”
I have never tried a tubing mascara before so I was really excited to!
So how did this mascara work for me?
When I don’t get enough of sleep, and it would be easier to say when I do, my eyes are really watery so most of the mascaras (talking about those that are not waterproof) run on me and this one doesn’t move! Like seriously, it is long lasting and stays on perfectly! I will even tell you a secret… Several times I had a nap with this mascara on during the day and even after 1.5-2 hours of sleep it stayed on really well. So it is true that it doesn’t smudge, clump or melt.
Some mascaras can irritate my eyes and this didn’t, so I would say it is great for sensitive eyes.
As this is the only mascara BECCA has, one would assume it
I have to say that I really want to try the new Lip products by Clarins which will be a part of their summer 2011 makeup collection called Mosaique.
Here is the promo photo and the bronzer from the collection which is called Mosaique Summer Bronzing Compact SPF 10, £ 26
And as for the lip products – I really want those Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Balm (£16.50) which were so popular that Clarins made a re-promoting of them. There are three shades: Crystal Coral, Crystal and Crystal Red. They all look amazing!
And there are also the new

Do you have any makeup memories from your childhood?
My Mum doesn’t really use makeup these days and she never wore a full face of makeup on a daily basis as far as I know. But in the past I remember she would wear some on the special occasions.
I would never forget the cake mascara she had and how she would use a lipstick as a blush. I also remember that she had a lot of lipsticks and I loved looking at them, occasionally I also loved using them on myself and… on the wall. But well, to defend myself I can say that I don’t remember doing that as it was ages ago.
When did you start using makeup? Do you remember what brands did you get?
I’ve started wearing makeup when I was 14, I remember how I’ve asked my parents to get me some makeup for my Birthday and they did. They got me mascara, several eye shadows and lip glosses. I can’t believe that I don’t remember what was the brand’s name though. I remember that I was buying Mary Kay and Max Factor in the past and I was really enjoying both brands.
What product changed your idea about the makeup?
