Red(ish) Blushers: Hourglass, Clarins, Benefit, Max Factor and MeMeMe
Since my post about pink blushers got so many views, I’ve decided to write one about reddish ones, too. Do let me know, if you’d like me to choose 5 corals/peaches and berries/plums…
So here is what I’ve picked:
Hourglass Aura Cheek Tint in Flush (review and swatches)
I think that Flush is a perfect name for this sheer water-based blusher, it gives the most natural and beautiful effect. Cheek Tint is easy to blend, plus it has a nice staying power.
Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in 18 Soft Cardinal (review and swatches)
This is probably my personal favourite! It is a gorgeous cream blusher with “wet & glossy” texture, it doesn’t enhance any dry patches and looks like a second skin, I use it a lot.
Clarins Multi-Blush Cream Blush in 03 Grenadine (review and swatches)
If you are not the biggest fan of the texture described above, and also are afraid of intense pigmentation – this is a great option. Clarins blusher is more of a cream-to-powder plus you get a sheer shade at first, so won’t end up looking like a clown.
Benefit Benetint (review and swatches)
Cult Benefit’s product – lovely liquid formula, instantly brightening shade which lasts for hours. Plus can be used on the lips, too. I personally apply it on top of the lip balm.
MeMeMe Cherub’s Blush Cheek & Lip Tint (review and swatches)
Ok, this is definitely not even close to red, but I’ve decided to include it, if you want to get a cheap liquid stain, and want to know how it looks like compared with other products, in terms of colour.
