Rouge Bunny rouge launched the newest quad in their Raw Garden collection. It is called Loess, and it is a combination of warm and cool toned shadows.
Here is a close-up of all four:
- A soft golden beige; a highlighting colour
- A soft, milky powder pink (the shimmering sister of our Long-lasting Matt Eye Shadow ‘Bashful Flamingo’)
- A mauve cacao
- A smoky, neutral basalt grey with slightly cool metallic shimmer
As I have already written in the previous review: the formula and the finish of the eye shadows are really interesting, I don’t even know how to describe it but the texture feels very lightweight but it is pigmented at the same time. As for the finish, I read that the it is described as “satin-matt” by the brand, and it is exactly that! It is not like a classic satin but definitely not a matte. Hopefully, the swatches below demonstrate it.
While Antigo is still my personal favourite palette, this seems like the best one to get [first] if you are curious about these shadows, as you can create both warm toned and cool toned looks.
As usual, the quality and the presentation of the palettes are exceptional. Speaking of the brand, they have launched new burgundy mascaras and will bring out their very own contouring product (Natural Defining & Contouring Liquid Shadow Play, as I have mentioned on Twitter) which I am personally very excited about.
