SS16 Face Products: Laura Mercier, Burberry and Lipstick Queen
Here is a usual round-up of the coolest new things, in my opinion. This time I’ve decided to feature complexion, mostly cheek products. I haven’t tried any of these but they all look really cool.
The shades are: Fruit Punch, Sangria and Tequila Sunrise
“Brighten up complexion with a vibrant wash of colour to lips and cheeks. A multitasking solid blush that creates a wash of luminous, vibrant colour for skin. This unique texture applies with ease and blends into a silky, bright glow. The talc free, gel structure is perfectly translucent for a bright, see-through effect. It glides onto skin with even, flawless color and a creamy feel with the combination of wax, siliconic powder and shiny emollients.”
LIPSTICK QUEEN Frog Prince Cream Blush, £22 from Space NK
After the success of the lipstick, there is now a blush and a lip gloss in the line, too. These products react to the pH of your skin and change colour so you get a nice pink flush.
“With its petal-soft texture and translucent finish, this silky, gel-cream formula brings a natural, rosy flush. This unique colour is subtle yet highly buildable, with a soft sheen for a flattering, cheek-sculpting effect. Natural oils ensure skin remains soft and moisturised.”
Burberry London With Love Blush Highlighter (LE), $68 Pink from Burberry
“Powder duo to boost the complexion with a rosy glow. Celebrating the playful prints from the Burberry Scarf Bar, the blush and highlighter powders are set in an embossed heart pattern. Give cheeks a natural radiance with the heart-shaped blush and use the highlighter to subtly illuminate the face. The two shades can be applied separately or blended together for a customisable finish.”AW16 New Cheek Products: Marc Jacobs, YSL and tarte
