Lancome Roseraie des Délices Spring 2012 Makeup Collection

For Lancome’s Spring 2012 makeup collection  Roseraie des Délices Aaron de Mey was inspired by Lancome’s founder, Armand Petitjean, rose garden outside Paris.

This collection is all about pastel shades of rose, green and peach. Very Spring appropriate.

La Roseraie Blush Palette, £32.50

La Roseraie Blush evens out and illuminates skin with a sheer veil. Its rosy shade brightens the complexion, while the peach hues warm the face. The hint of green mother of pearl corrects redness.

Les Yeux Doux, £33

  • Vert Tendresse, delicate pink shades, delicate pistachio and mint hues
  • Rose Romance, pale pinks and accents of fuchsia

Aaron’s Tip: Apply a delicate veil of the paler shade over the whole eyelid simply using your fingertips. Illuminate the inner corner of the eye and the eyebrow arch with a highlighter shade. To sculpt the eye, blend the more intense shade from the lash base towards the lid crease.

Love It: Daria Werbowy’s Makeup by Aaron de Mey

I just like Aaron de Mey, I really do. I like his style and his long hair(!) and his quite rebellious collections for Lancome. Glossy black eyes, deep blue eye shadows, the vampy shades for Fall, his collaboration with L’Wren Scott and  the Spring collection.

I also like Daria Werbowy. By the way, have you seen the French Vogue’s calender with her? Did you like it?

But today I want to show you the photos of Daria from Marie Claire US December 2010, makeup is by Aaron. There are 5 looks but I’ve chosen 3. I like that all the looks are quite simple yet elegant and beautiful.

I absolutely love the glowy skin, bronzy eyes and this bright lipstick, amazing combination!

Products that are used: Matte Color Design Matte Lipcolor in Posh Pink, Blush Subtil inShimmer Mandarin Sky, Essie nail polish in Secret Affair.

Lancome’s French Coquettes Makeup Collection for Fall 2010. Preview

I have special feelings for Lancome, I love this brand. This was the first luxury makeup brand that I got with my own money when I was a teenager :).And I still keep buying their new products!

I love this brand even more after Aaron de Mey joined it because he is simply amazing! Such a handsome and talanted man with a magnetic charisma.  I know some people who were lucky to work with him and they  say the best things about him.

I am  always excited to see new collections by Aaron so I was happy too see this sneak image of the new fall  2010 collection which is called French Coquettes and is based on dark and beautiful colours.

There will be new glosses, lipsticks, nail polishes, shadows, rose face powder and many more. I can’t wait to see all the details and let you know.

But so far I love the collection because for me visuals and the idea behind the collection is very important and I love this idea. And what about you? What Fall 2010 makeup collection do you like the best so far?
