Today I want to share about the product which was mentioned in my summer beauty favourites.
And it’s a Soaper Duper Ginger Root & Eucalyptus Salt Scrub. I’ve bought quite a few products from the brand recently, and really loved all of them, however, the scrub really stood out to me.
While retailing for only £12, it feels like a luxury high-end product but for the fraction of the price. The texture, the smell, the results, everything is just brilliant about this scrub.
I am a
Today I want to share about my latest discovery which I love and recommend – Frank Body, Australian brand, and their Cocoa Coffee body scrub in particular.
Before I talk about the product, I just wanted to mention that the brand has gotten every little detail thought through. A cool story about five friends who came up with this idea, quirky fun, and sometimes naughty, which always gets a thumbs up from me, descriptions and pretty design and colours [of the packaging].
In our time and age, when we mostly buy experience, this is crucial, and people behind Frank Body clearly understand that.
There are a few scrubs to choose from over at Cult Beauty (100g – £7.95; 200g – £13.95) Original, Coconut, Peppermint and Shimmer which all come in different colour packaging and with different fun blurbs. The one I have comes in a pretty lilac waterproof bag and has a chocolate cake reference. I’ve just transferred some scrub to a pretty pot I’ve had.
What about the scrub itself?
Kind Natured, an affordable natural brand (it is promised that the products are free of Sulphates, Parabens and Petrochemicals; and are 97% natural in general) brought out two new lines recently, and I was kindly sent some products to try out.
Two new ranges are:
- Shea & Macadamia – described as deeply nourishing and formulated for very dry skin.
- Coconut & Monoi – described as moisturising and formulated for normal and dry skin
Each line has three products so far: Foaming Sugar Scrub (£5.99), Body Lotion (£5.99) and a Hand Cream (£4.99).
So what are my thoughts?
First of all, I think it was a clever idea to bring out the scented products at this time of year when we all are a bit tired of the cold months and crave the sun. Both lines have that sweet exotic scent, and make me personally think of a summer holiday and cocktails on the beach, they are like a summer-in-a-bottle. Although the
It is almost the end of January, and I am still talking about my favourite beauty products of 2014…
This time it is all things body, hair and feet & hands. Here we go.
Garnier Oil Beauty Oil-Infused Nourishing Scrub (review)
This is such an amazing scrub for dry skin, it is not harsh, not drying, leaves the skin smooth and ready for the moisturizer. Add a nice scent and affordable price – and you get a perfect product!
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Nourishing Body Lotion With Nordic Berry (review)
I have so many body creams, lotions and balms with different price tags but this is among my favourites. The scent is divine, the texture is gorgeous, and it moisturizes even my very dry skin. I have used up several bottle of this, and need a new one again.

Elemis Treat Your Feet Foot Cream (review)
Today it’s time for part three of my 2012 beauty favourites and it’s all about body care and, I think, regular readers won’t be surprised by any of my picks. Especially considering that most of the products are from my favourite skincare brands.
For some reason in 2012 I’ve started using soaps instead of shower gels. Long gone are the days when soaps were harsh and drying, these days you can get some luxurious, creamy ones. I am absolutely in love with the set I’ve bought from Cowshed, would like to try other soaps the brand offers in the future.
Clarins Toning Body Polisher
Clarins have two body scrubs and I have written about both but my favourite has to be Toning Body Polisher (yellow one). Want to know why? Keep reading.
