April 2015 Beauty Favourites

Can you believe that it is MAY already? Where did 2015 go?  Maybe that is because I am crazy busy these days that I don’t notice anything around me, who knows…

But back to April Beauty Favourites. I did not have that many makeup favourites, and did not want to mention the same products over, and over again – so here are 3 hero products that I have been using every single day when I did my makeup ( I was sick for a week in April which was horrible), and some new  beauty loves…

The three makeup heroes I’ve mentioned are: Rouge Bunny Rouge Raven Glaze Lacquer Liner (review and swatches)Max Factor Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Volumising Mascara (review),  Bobbi Brown Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up in Slate (review). I haven’t been experimenting with eye makeup that much this month, and these are the products that just work. Eye brow gel to tint my eye brows and keep them in place, ultra black liner for that feline flick and mascara for thick and long lashes.

There are also three products that I’ve mentioned in my Spring Beauty GuideBalance Me Radiance Rose Face Oil and Aromatherapy Associates Hydrating Rose Radiance Skin Serum for that

Max Factor Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Volumising Mascara Review

Max Factor have been killing it with their mascaras lately. Their Masterpiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara (review here) was one of the best ones I have ever tried, no wonder it won so many awards.

The brand came out with a new one Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Volumising Mascara  recently which I have posted on Instagram about  a month ago and which you could see in this post.

I have been using it since February, and I want to share my impression finally…

Max Factor Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Mascara Review

Apparently this mascara contains lash extending carbon-black fibres for thicker, longer and more intense lashes.

And that is how it works –  Glamour Extensions gives amazing volume, great length as the short bristles allow to coat each lash;  and don’t forget the ultra black intense colour. I also love how long-lasting it is! I have sensitive eyes that are often watering, so it is important that it doesn’t smudge or run. Big thumbs up for such an amazing formula.

This time it’s all about the eyes & lips. Enjoy, and don’t forget to share yours.

Best Beauty Products of 2014 Makeup Clarins, RBR, theBalm, Lacnome, Max FactorEye Shadows Platte – theBalm Shady Lady Vol 2 (review)

I have re-discovered this beauty in summer, and  this was the palette I travelled with most of the times, amazing formulas, great colour selection, thin packaging and great mirror – what else do you need? theBalm eye shadows are among the best.

Mascara – Clarins Be Long (review)

I’ve managed to get lush looking lashes with Be Long, it separates perfectly, is never clumpy, and gives a nice , rather dramatic effect, if you use several coats. The brush, for me, is mess-free. I have recommended it to several friends, and they loved it, too.

Cream Eye Shadow – Max Factor Excess Shimmer Eye Shadows  (review)

Definitely one of the coolest eye shadows I’ve discovered  in ages.  Mousse-like texture that allows you to get a sheer   hint of shimmer, or layer it on for a more intense look. It is stunning both ways!

Max Factor Mastepiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara Review

When I was a teen, I considered Max Factor mascara to be a proper luxury, I had to save money to  get myself a tube. Although that was ages ago, but I am still in love with the brand’s mascaras. In fact, their latest one – Excess Volume Extreme Impact was  very innovative and brilliant

But what about Masterpiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara?

Max Factor Masteprice Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara ReviewIt is actually phenomenal, I think. I have been using it for weeks now, and I am absolutely in love. It gives the most amazing effect – intense, dramatic ultra black  lashes with impressive volume and  fullness.

But I have to  mention that this mascara gets a lot better with time when it dries out a bit, but I think that it’s the same for all the mascaras.

And what I personally appreciate the most – how long-lasting it is. It stays on really well, of course not as a waterproof mascara,  but definitely better than any other mascara that I’ve used. My eyes are very sensitive and they are watering a lot, so I really appreciate it.  It can be hard to remove it by the end of the day, but who cares?

The  bendy rubbery brush has short bristles which distribute the product that way that  it coats each lash and gives this dramatic effect.

I have actually noticed that  Mastepiece Transform already won several beauty awards, and rightly so! It is that good.Max Factor Masteprice Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara Review brushYou can buy it from Boots and Superdrug for £9.99.

November 2014 Beauty Favourites

Can you believe that it’s the last month of Autumn? And the holidays are just around the corner? Speaking of holidays, I still need to book everything. How very last minute, I know.

And today let’s take a look at the beauty products that I have been loving in November.

Makeup

November 2014 Beauty Favourites Max Factor Becca Urban Decay ArtDeco Daniel sandler awesomeThis month it was very similar base-wise for me, as in October.

I have been using BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector almost every day, since the lack of sleep and non-stop lifestyle do impact the way my skin looks. To fake a healthy glowing complexion, this is my personal must have.

On top I have been loving Awesome Aqua Radiance CC Cream or Daniel Sandler’s Invisible Radiance Foundation and Concealer. DS’s foundation is one of my all time favourites, it definitely is radiant and glowing. Yes, there is a theme here, my dry and dehydrated skin needs some glow and radiance…

It’s the second month that I have been neglecting blushers almost completely. And my favourite cheeks product is still
