April 2015 Beauty Favourites
Can you believe that it is MAY already? Where did 2015 go? Maybe that is because I am crazy busy these days that I don’t notice anything around me, who knows…
But back to April Beauty Favourites. I did not have that many makeup favourites, and did not want to mention the same products over, and over again – so here are 3 hero products that I have been using every single day when I did my makeup ( I was sick for a week in April which was horrible), and some new beauty loves…

The three makeup heroes I’ve mentioned are: Rouge Bunny Rouge Raven Glaze Lacquer Liner (review and swatches), Max Factor Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Volumising Mascara (review), Bobbi Brown Natural Brow Shaper & Hair Touch Up in Slate (review). I haven’t been experimenting with eye makeup that much this month, and these are the products that just work. Eye brow gel to tint my eye brows and keep them in place, ultra black liner for that feline flick and mascara for thick and long lashes.
There are also three products that I’ve mentioned in my Spring Beauty Guide: Balance Me Radiance Rose Face Oil and Aromatherapy Associates Hydrating Rose Radiance Skin Serum for that
Best Beauty Products for Tanned and Glowing Summer Body
Although I love my light skin tone and dark hair (and eyes) and the high contrast, I like “tanning it up” a bit for SS season.
And by that, I mean that I use the following products which have been my helpers for several seasons now:
Xen-Tan Deep Bronze Luxe Once A Week Self Tan
After not having any success with affordable (read cheap) self tanners, I’ve decided to try Xen Tan, as I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. I’ve got this product with the mitt for £32 which is a bit more than I’d like to spend on a tanning product, as it’s not on top of my beauty must-haves. But I am very happy that I did get it, the quality is amazing. It gives a beautiful healthy looking tan, without steaks. To read all the details click here.
Xen-Tan Transform Luxe
If you have fair/light skin and don’t want to get a deep tan, you may prefer the Xen Tans Transform Luxe self tanner, as it gives a more subtle effect. Want to find out more?

Xen-Tan Transform Luxe Review and Photos
I have already written about how much I loved my Xen-Tan Deep Bronze Luxe Once A Week Self Tan which I was using in summer. And today I want to tell you about the version that I am using right now.
It is called Xen-Tan Transform Luxe (£24.99)
I love my Deep Bronze but it’s a bit dark for me in winter so Transform Luxe is a perfect shade. It builds the tan gradually and gives a lighter tan which looks natural in winter on the girls with fair/light skin.
Transform Luxe is also an amazing product, it develops a light healthy looking tan, with no streaks or orange undertones. It is fool-proof. I am not an expert at self-tanning and I’ve never managed to make it look bad on me. Just make sure that you read the instructions.
