A great thing about having your own website is the fact that you can write whatever and whenever you want. So today’s feature is inspired by my girlfriends. The thing is that I have been telling some of them how much I love this soap, so I would like to share with my readers and fellow beauty lovers, too.
A soap, really? Yes! I personally think that The Scottish Fine Soaps are fantastic. The thing is that it almost feels like a cream, not a soap, so silky and smooth. Although, I use a body cream afterwards all the time, if your skin is not as dry as mine, most likely
I am still in love with the Jo Malone’s mini cologne set I’ve got myself as a Christmas present several years ago, which is why I always recommend getting them, as a present for yourself or a special friend.
This year the brand actually brought out two gorgeous looking collections, one with colognes, and the other one with colognes intense. It is as good as it gets, really.
Jo Malone Cologne Collection, £68/$110
- Zesty Lime Basil and Mandarin: fresh limes and zesty mandarin undercut by peppery basil and aromatic white thyme.
- Blackberry and Bay: deep, tart blackberry juice, just-gathered bay and brambly woods.
- Amber and Lavender: a subtle, spicy warm scent of petit grain, French lavender and amber.
- Peony and Blush Suede: a charming mix of peonies, red apple, jasmine, rose and gillyflower mingled with sensual blush suede.
- Wood Sage and Sea Salt: woody earthiness mixed with sage the sea.
Wood Sage and Sea Slat is the only cologne that I still don’t have, Peony and Blush Suede I’ve got for my Mum, and other three
I always want to try new beauty brands and am always looking out for interesting products. Cowshed caught my attention some time ago but, unfortunately, I still haven’t got around to trying their products. But I am determined to do so in the near future…

Their products have playful and cute names but the brand takes everything else seriously.
I have heard some great things about the range from the people who’s opinion I trust, so I do have a lot on my wish-list but I’d probably start with a small set just to see who we’d get along.
I’d go for something like this Pocket Cow Bath & Body 5 x 30ml, £18.50, set. (Cowlick Gentle Shampoo, Saucy Cow Softening Conditioner, Wild Cow
Last week I reviewed the new Elemis Tranquil Touch Bath Elixir from their Exotic Body line and promised to review the other product from the Body Awaken line.
I’ve actually ordered Elemis’ new body scrub last week. Was torn apart between the mint body scrub and the exotic body scrub. Mint one would be more suitable for summer but I’ve got the Exotic one. Can’t wait till I get it.
But back to the product that I’ve got to try from the Awaken Body range. To tell the truth, I don’t think that I would get anything from that range myself as Exotic or Soothing lines attract me much more. So this is great that I have something different to tell you about.
So, I’ve got a Revitalise-Me Shower Gel 200ml( £16) to try. I assume this would be an amazing product to use in the morning to help yourself to wake up but I don’t have time and don’t like taking shower in the mornings most of the time. But I did take a shower several times in the morning to try out this shower gel!
The first thing that you notice is the pretty
