Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eye Shadows Review and Swatches

I know that it is all about the new Chanel eye shadows now but I still want to share my love for the  Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eye Shadows.

I have two shades: 857 Rouge Noir and 83 Illusoire. While it took me forever to get the Rouge Noir, as it was always sold out everywhere back in the days, Illusoire was a present from a friend but I love it a lot, too. And since I have a bronze shade in a Stylo format (147 Caroube), I have  all the colours I need/use.

Both colours are incredibly beautiful and complex, you can get a sheer wash of colour with a

July 2017 Beauty Favourites

It feels like I am starting every monthly favourites with this. But how is it August already, the 8th month of the year? Where did 2017 go?

All that aside, here is a list of the things I have been loving in July, and please keep in mind that I am still loving/using all the products from the previous months, but I just want to mention the ones I haven’t mentioned before.

I have only discovered this product in July but I think this will be a new long-time favourite. There is no need to say that the formula is amazing, it always is when it comes to this brand. But what is so special about it then? It is the  shade which is perfect. Bronzer/Blush is a great description, as it is not your typical bronzer, it has a reddish undertone to it. When I first saw Balm Desert, it made me think of Dallas by Benefit but they are not the same at all.  Anyway, this products is great for adding colour to your face, and for gently sculpting it, too.

Want It: Chanel Yeux Ombre Premiere Eye Shadow Collection

Long gone are the days when I was buying all those huge eye shadows palettes one, after another and blending 4-5 shadows together to create a look. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

This is why now I am mostly excited about the single or the duo releases. And just when I thought that I don’t want any eye shadows, Chanel are releasing these new beauties as a part of their Yeux  Ombre Premiere Eye Shadow Collection. Already available from Saks and Bergdorf Goodman and Nordstrom (here and here)

While I have selected the shades I will be trying out, there are many more other variants which also include yellow, blue and other more daring options.

And how cool are the looks Lucia Pica created on Kristen Stewart? Simple yet
