This Spring Chanel’s makeup collection is all about beige and brown eye products and bright and fresh lip products. There is also a beautiful apricot blush, exclusive highlighter and three signature nail polishes.

Eclats du Soir de Chanel has to be my favourite Chanel  makeup collection of this  year. It is actually  Peter Philips’ reinterpretation of the  “rouge noir” which he enriched  with gold and bronze  to make it festive.

The lipstick and the nail polish look fantastic!

The products from the collection are:

Eyes

REGARD SIGNĒ DE CHANEL (£43) Harmonie du Soir, deep golden bronze, a plum red, smoky taupe and pink.

I love getting the details about the  products that were used to create a celebrity’s ( I like) makeup look. So I was was excited to get the details about Keira Knightley’s look for the  premiere of Anna Karenina which was yesterday, September 4th.

I also love the fact that this look was created by Lisa (Eldridge) whom, as you definitely know by now, I love.

Lisa’s inspiration for the look was Keira’s dress and she wanted to create a soft, pale makeup with romantic feel. She also wanted to add some strength around the eyes so that the beautiful actress would not look washed out.

Face

‘Lisa started with a flawless base using Perfection Lumière Foundation in 10 Beige applied with a brush and buffed into the skin. She also applied the concealers Éclat Lumière in 20 Beige Clair and Lift Lumière Concealer in 10 Beige around Keira’s eyes and on the high points of her face to highlight. After a light dusting of Poudre Universelle Libre in 20 Clair, Lisa went onto the eyes.

For cheeks Lisa dusted Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Initiale mainly to the apples of the cheeks for a fresh flush of colour.

 Eyes

Lisa began with a perfect liquid line along the upper lashes using Ecriture De Chanel in Noir. She softened this using the powder shadow Ombre Essentielle in Ebony. At the outer corner she lifted and elongated the liner into a small kitten flick.

Lisa washed a mixture of Ombres Contraste Duo in Gris–Subtil across Keira’s eyelid, mixing it until it was

Blue Illusion de Chanel Makeup Collection

I have already posted a preview of this collection and the makeup that was created with it for  the Chanel Haute Couture Spring Summer 2012 Show. So here are the details…

Here is what kind of makeup Chanel suggest:

‘The juvenile grace of an almost nude face showcases eyes with marine depths, mellowed by the radiance of blue tones. On eyelids, ILLUSION D’OMBRE takes on a scintillating and satiny effect that makes eye makeup glow with each bat of the lashes. Two airy shades of grey blue, one pale, DESTINATION, and the other more intense, APPARITION, adapt to all faces. Eyeshadows are applied according to inspiration: in sheer washes or deep colour blocks, in monochrome or gradations.

Mascara-laden lashes accentuate the graphic tracing of the eye contour with a sophisticated note. LE CRAYON YEUX BLEU AÉRIEN borders the eyelids with an
