Holiday Gift Guide: Eye Shadow Palettes. My Picks

Last Monday I’ve posted about the luxury eye shadow palettes, so today I want to continue sharing about the brand new releases. And this time it is the three palettes that I personally like the best. Please keep in mind, that I haven’t tried any of the palettes below so I can’t guarantee the quality but all three brands are awesome, and I was never disappointed by their products.

Christmas 2015 Cream Eye Shadows: Shiseido and Dolce & Gabbana

Here is a preview of some new cream eye shadows that are out for Christmas. You can actually browse some other ones out  for Christmas here.

The products in question are:

Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Colour, £22 from here.

They are described as those that have “lasting brilliance and luxurious shine”.There are five new neutral shades, such as champagne, bronze and moss: BR 731, VI730, BE728,  BR 329, GR732

Dolce & Gabbana The Essence Of Holidays Perfect Mono Cream Eye Colour, £25 from here.

Guerlain Winter Fairy Tale Makeup Collection for Christmas 2015

You can always count on Guerlain when it comes to luxury limited edition seasonal releases. Their Christmas 2015, Winter Fairy Tale, collection is not an exception.

Of course, there is a new version of the collectable  Météorites Perle des Neiges ($80), which come in a beautiful festive packaging. There are even star shaped mateories! Beige to even out the skin tone, champagne to illuminate and golden for a subtle sun-kissed effect.

The other star product, in my opinion is the  Ors et Merveilles Eyes and Blush Palette ($90) which contains wearable shades for the eyes and blushes to brighten up the complexion.

No7 Deco Darling Makeup Collection for AW 2012

Here is a preview of Boots No7 new collection Deco Darling. And here is what Lisa Eldridge, Creative Director has to say about it:

“The collection channels the chic and beautiful style of the 1920’s and there’s a look for every woman. Whether you want to opt for a dramatic eye or add a subtle touch of shimmer to your cheekbones, the Deco Darling Collection will leave you looking and feeling as elegant as scenes from the Great Gatsby.”

How do you you like Carey as Daisy Buchanan? The film is out in December, by the way.

Christmas Gift Guide: Ellis Faas Lights

Lights  is a relatively new product and its the latest edition of Ellis Faas makeup products for the eyes. In my opinion these are the best eye shadows for the holiday.

The package is gorgeous and unique and the colours are to die for, see for yourself!

This is what is written about the product:

“Like practically all ELLIS FAAS products, these are liquid, but they dry upon application, and then the Lights give the illusion of having a small metallic sheet on the eyelid. Because the particles in the product are so fine, it will appear from a distance that the shiny texture is oily or wet – even though it is perfectly dry with a smooth finish, so you won’t feel any stickiness on the eyelids, and they will not build up in eyelid creases. They are available in five shades: warm silver, greenish gold, bronze, lilac and holographic Bordeaux.”

The price is €32/£25/$42

Unfortunately I’ve never tried the Lights myself but I would really love to. You can read the review of Ellis Faas range including Lights at London MakeUp Girl. She also has some links to other brilliant reviews of the brand.

And how amazing those shades are, don’t you agree? Which one would you choose?
