Another week, another shampoo review? Looks like that!
Today I want to show you Cowshed’s Cowlick Gentle Shampoo. I have picked up mine ages ago, back in September, I think, or even earlier and am already done with it.
This is actually a Sulphates (SLS, SLES, chemical which helps the product to foam) free shampoo, Cowshed use soapwort instead, but I did not even notice that when was getting it. I just needed a new shampoo and decided to try this one.
Unfortunately, Cowlick did not work that well for my hair. I am not sure what is the reason for that but I wasn’t very happy with the way it (hair) looked afterwards, wasn’t so smooth and shiny, as I’d like it to be. Plus I had to wash it earlier than I would like…
The things that I did love were the
My love affair with Cowshed continues, this time I have picked up their Lazy Cow Soothing Bath & Body Oil. It is originally £20 for 100 ml but, since it was on sale for around £14, I had to get it.
This oil contains essential oils of jasmine, chamomile and sandalwood. I personally really love the relaxing and calming woody oriental scent. It is quite subtle and not as concentrated as I’d like it to be, but it’s still nice.
Multi-purpouse products are always a win-win situation, so, as you can guess, I am very happy with my purchase.
As my skin is very dry, this is a God-sent product for me. I use it as a bath oil, as a body oil and as a massage oil.
I’d like to mention that
I am properly in love with my Cowshed soaps and with the Grumpy Cow body lotion, too.
I actually love everything, starting from names and design to the performing qualities of the product.
As for this lotion, it smells really nice, and contains essential oils of red mandarin, grapefruit and petitgrain. Very uplifting and invigorating.
The scent actually does stay on the skin for some time which is really nice as I do love my scented body products. I am not the
I never used soaps, always shower gels or, even better shower creams, in the past. The thing is that I have very dry skin and soaps used to dry it out completely and leave it flaky and tight. This changed when I have tried L’Occitane soaps…
Now I have a completely different opinion. I am eagerly trying new soaps but I choose very carefully what brands to get. You have probably seen that I have got this set from Cowshed. It comes in a beautiful box which would make a great present actually. You get three soaps inside from three different ranges which gives you a nice idea about Cowshed in general, too.
Knackered Cow ‘Burnt out? Slow down and de-stress with essential oils of lavender to restore harmony and eucalyptus to ease tired muscles.’
Lazy Cow ‘Soothing Collection – Be left in peace with essential oils of jasmine to deeply relax, chamomile to calm, and sandalwood to aid contemplation.’
Grumpy Cow ‘Feeling low? Rediscover your zest for life with essential oils of mandarin red to invigorate the senses, petitgrain to cleanse and purify, and grapefruit to stimulate circulation.’ Each soap is 160g and is made from 100% organic palm and coconut oils and triple milled for a ‘dense and luxurious texture. ‘
