Once again, let me tell you that blue will be huge this Fall. So I thought I would share with you how to create a gorgeous look with blue eye shadows.
This look was created by the top Make-Up Artist Daniel Sandler for Olivia Rubin for London A/W 2011/2012 Fashion Week.
Here is what Daniel says about the look:
The Look, entitled ‘Rockin’ Royal Blue’, was inspired by Olivia’s bold graphic prints and tailored silhouettes, along with the iconic 80’s. “I wanted the makeup to be bold, beautiful and expensive-looking so I created the modern Hollywood face to flatter Olivia’s stunning collection. The flash of Royal blue on the lids makes it look very British.”
Daniel and his team of Artists used the following products:
Skin
- Daniel Sandler Catwalk Compact SPF 25 Foundation, £21.50
- NEW Daniel Sandler Invisible Veil Loose Professional Powder,£22.50

With just-flushed cheeks in shades of golden coral and pink, lips the colour of sherbet and bronze-gilded eyes lined with chocolate and black for dreamy intensity, Halcyon Days embraces the inner flower child with carefree abandon.”

Vanessa prepped the skin with Lancôme’s La Base Pro makeup primer. To perfect Christina’s already luminous skin, Vanessa used the new Teint Miracle Lit-From-Within foundation . “It has an amazing transparent quality that leaves the skin looking flawless and luminous without being shiny,” said Vanessa. “I applied it with a brush and then blended with my fingers.” Blending with her fingers heated up the foundation a bit, allowing for a seamless finish. Vanessa followed with Effacernes Concealer under the eyes, her “all time favorite concealer.”
For a fresh pop of color I used Blush Subtil Shimmer in Shimmer Pink Pool on the apples of her cheeks. Dabs of Giorgio Armani Beauty’s Fluid Sheer #2 highlighted Christina’s cheekbones.
