Since we are having a Lipstick Week, it is about time to finally write a full review of my lipstick obsession – NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Transylvania.
I’ve picked it up back in the winter and already featured it a lot of times on my Instagram and in my favourites, too.
Long-time readers will know that I am a huge fan of berry and plum vampy lipsticks and I have quite few but I’ve picked this one up not only because of the shade but also because of the name. Long story short – Transylvania will always have a special place in my heart, although I have been there only several times.
But, back to the lipstick…
I really, really love it. As the name suggests, it is a
Here is a weekly edition of the newest makeup products for face, eyes and lips that caught my attention:
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush ($34 from Sephora)
The shade shown is Dahlia (cabernet). Other shades are: Blushed Copper – copper, Camellia – ballerina pink, Foxglove – orchid.
These blushes basically give you that glow and multi-dimensional, versatile blushes to create a subtle, shimmering flush. Apparently these blushes are inspired by Shimmering Skin Perfector and give the right balance of colour and light.
Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick ( $21 from Sephora). There are
Is it me or Chanel collections are getting hotter and hotter? Their Autumnal release was one of the best among other seasonal collections. But their Christmas 2015 makeup collection Rouge Noir Absolument is just out-of-this-world-gorgeous!
Look at those dark berry shades! It doesn’t get better than this.
My personal favourite products from the collection have to be: Rouge Allure in Rouge Noir (black red), Le Vernis in Rouge Allure (black red) and Illusion D’Ombre in Rouge Noir (shimmering black red). Can I have all three products, please? And maybe the Rouge Noir eye pencil and a blush, too?
What else is in this collection?
Kevin Aucoin’s Bloody Gorgeous set is…. Well, let’s face it, it’s bloody gorgeous! Those vampy lips and nails are to die for. In fact, all six products are. They are said to be the brand’s most iconic ones. And this is definitely a timeless and elegant beauty.
And we are talking about:
I really love the promos of the new butter LONDON cosmetics and nail polish collection. A gorgeous redhead girl and a statement look is exactly what you need as an inspiration for the AW season.
So what are the new products?
Two Lippy Tinted Lip Balms ($20) in Jaffa and Tramp Stamp, two Lippy Liquid Lipstick ($18) in Ladybird and Ruby Murray. Wink Colour Mascaras ($20) in British Racing Green and Cor Blimey Wink Cream Eye Shadows($18) in Twigged and Coriander, and Wink Eye Pencils ($18) in Busker and Cor Blimey.
My personal favourite is Cheeky Cream Blush ($20) in Ruby Murray, which is a deep plum.
You can buy the collection from Macy’s.
Besides the colour collection, you can also get new nail polishes, and
