Simple Makeup For An Evening Out

I have been out several times this week with my friends and, although I wanted to look nice, I did not want to spend hours and tones of products on my look.

So here are the items I relied on:

Face

Since it’s winter, my face definitely could get some help in the “glow department”.  Hourglass Illusion Tinted Mositurizer  was the perfect choice for that. It does add some radiance to the face which looks nice in the evening.

Although I love cool toned face products in winter, I’ve decided to add some warmth this time with  Illamasqua’s Allure Powder Blusher and Sienna X’s  Cream To Powder Bronzer & Illuminator.

Eyes

My newest favourite toy for the eyes is Burberry’s Complete Eye Palette in Pink Taupe. I have tried pretty much

Eye Lash Makeup Routine: From Curlers to Top Coat

I’m not gonna lie, I am super jealous when I see girls with long, thick lashes…Unfortunately, it is not the case with mine. It could be worse, so I should not complain really.

But there are certain things I can do about it. I have never tried lash extensions for some reason and wearing false lashes every day is not an option, for me at least.

So here are the products that I use to get a make my lashes look decent:

First of all, I curl my lashes with shu uemura lash curlers, they open up the eyes and the curl lasts all day long. It is a great investment.

Next step is mascara – black Diorshow New Look or

I remember some time ago I had an idea of counting how much was worth the makeup that I was wearing. And last week, after I saw such post on one of the blog that I like, I though about doing the same thing.

So here is the makeup that I wore on Friday.

Complexion(£131.5):

Firts of all I’ve used a Mineral Primer by BECCA, £34 (my review here). Then I’ve mixed two foundations – Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect in 71  Abricote Clair,£9.5 with  Max Factor Xperience Foundation in 85 Deep Soapstone, £10

I’ve used Chanel Bronze Universel (£26 or £28 I can’t remember) to countorand to add some colour to my face, highlighted with BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl, £33 (review here) and added some BECCA’s Beach Tint in Grapefruit, £19 (review here).

Favourite Makeup Of 2010: Products For Eyes

You already read the post about my favourite face products of 2010 and now it’s time for eye products! And, yes, stay tuned for the lip products part!

So let’s start!

Mascara

Lancome Hypnose

My favourite mascara is Lancome Hypnose. I’ve tried so many mascaras (and have so many brand new waiting for me to try them) and although there are so many amazing products for me nothing beats up the Lancome Hypnose so far! Read review here.

Eye Shadows

Ellis Faas Lights

Not only they look absolutely gorgeous , but they also stay on for hours without creasing, fading or smudging. I am really impressed. Read review here.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Eye Shadows

I just love these eye shadows and I’ve already written about them twice, they are just so good. Brilliant cream eye shadows. I know that several people bought them after reading my post (which makes me happy that people trust my reviews) and loved them, too. Read review here and here.

Yves Saint Laurent Ombres 5 Lumieres

These have been my favourite high-end eye shadows this year, the best quality ever: silky texture, nice pigmentation, beautiful shades. Read review here.

Eye Liner

Illamasqua Precision Ink

Every time I’ve wanted an eye liner – I’ve reached for the Illamasqua’s. They are just great:
