I enjoyed sharing about the things that I loved in Winter, and now it is July and I did not share about my Spring favourites yet.
I’ve actually been strict with myself and allowed only a few products [makeup, beauty, lifestyle] so these are truly creme de la creme, for me.
This is probably my favourite product of them all, and I promise to write about it in more details because, after all, why would you need an extra step in your skincare routine which is £65 on top of it all. But it truly transformed my skincare routine. Think of all those things beauty brands promise in their press releases. It is all that: healthy glow, hydrated skin which is soft and smooth. I think my skin loves the Hungarian thermal water and the urea. And did I mention the frosted luxurious bottle?
I’ve had a small bottle of this with one of my orders and did not expect to love it as much as I do. One of the best face oils I have ever used. Again, think of all those things we want our beauty products to do. Glowing complexion? Nourished and silky skin?
February Favourites when it is the end of March…It is better late than never, right?
I am still using/loving all the products which I have featured in my January favourites but there are a few other products which I have added to my routine.
Max Factor Glossfinity Nail Polish in 85 Cerise (review and swatch)
I am having a break from my gel manicures so I am re-discovering the joys of changing the nail colours every few days, and of course Cerise from Max Factor made an appearance. I am on my third bottle, and I am obsessed with this bright fiery red which looks opaque with only one coat.
Great formula which can be worn as an opaque true matte (ruby) red, or as a stain by gently tapping it in with the fingers. This may sound like such a cliche but I feel so glamourous and confident whenever I am wearing it, the lipstick for dates. The formula is also nice, I do not find it to be drying.
Ok, I am finally doing it! Writing 2015 yearly favourites that is. The thing is when I started writing this post I’ve gathered so many products that I’d be going on, and on about them all. This is why here are 15 I loved the most. 15 since it was 2015, yes, I know…
If I had to choose only 1 product that would probably be Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in 25 Alluring Rose (review and swatches)
Long-time readers know how much I love my blushers. And this year it was all about this one, I’ve barely used anything else. Creme Puff Blush gives that luminous glow that instantly brightens up the complexion. The formula is incredibly soft and smooth and blends into the skin beautifully. I have several shades but Alluring Rose is the love of my [beauty] love.
The other favourite is still my Trish McEvoy Golden Bronzer (review). As you can see from the photo above, it is very well loved. It warms up the complexion without looking orange or muddy. I like the hint of radiance it gives, too.
BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl (review) is still the best glow-and-radiance-in-a-bottle product out there. I usually mix it with foundation to make my skin look “healthy”. This formula and shade = perfection.
If I had to pick only one “foundation” of the year – that’d be Clarins HydraQuench Tinted Moisturizer (review and swatches), hands down. It is dry skin’s best friend. Clarins know how to
Turns out it is possible to finish makeup! And recently I did use up three products from my personal makeup bag. The fact that I did stick to these products and used them till the very “last drop” means only one thing – these are among my favourites.
This is one of the most loved product in the “Beauty World” and that’s easy to understand why. It instantly changes the way your under eye area looks, brightens all the darkness and visually lifts up the eye. If you have really dark circles, make sure that you use concealer before Touche Eclat. You can also use the product as your regular highlighter, when you want a natural and subtle effect. If you want to know about other ways you can use Touche Eclat click here.
I have raved about these lip
It’s time for February favourites. Can’t believe that I am doing this on time!
In my January favourites (still loving those products a lot) I’ve talked about makeup only, so I’ve promised to include some other beauty products this time, so I am keeping my promise.
LVX Sanguine Nail Lacquer
I am very impressed with this nail polish, it is amazing. I have written about it last week and actually forgot to mention that I was also very impressed with how quickly it dries, even without a top coat.
Revlon Nail Polish in Revlon Red
I did not like Revlon nail polishes at first, mostly because of the long and thin brushes. But practice makes perfect and now my application techniques improved a lot. Plus I really love this shade of red, wore it twice in February.
YSL Eye Shadow Duo in 35 Caramel Tan/Burnt Brown
I thought that it was a LE, so I did not talk that much about this little gem, otherwise I would. I love it to pieces and use it a lot. This is in my top 5 eye shadows that I own, for sure. Perfect reddish brown, matte and
