Givenchy Holiday Kiss Makeup Collection for Christmas 2017

This season Givenchy’s makeup collection is very well edited with only five items. And each product, besides the mascara top coat (not shown) comes in a sparkling special edition case, those are sequins!

The star of the collection is La Palette Eclats Nocturnes Eyeshadow Palette ( $63)

  • Blue glitter shadow (a shimmering blue with sparkles of purple)
  • Gold glitter shadow (a shimmering yellow gold)
  • Bronze glitter shadow (a shimmering copper bronze)

Le Rouge Lipstick ($38) in 328 Grenat Nocturne – burgundy red and  Le Rouge-À-Porter ( $38) in 306 Brun Nocturne (reddish brown).

Sparkling Eye Liners I Am Loving

My favourite beauty product over the holidays was definitely Illamasqua’s Ore pigment, a glittery bronze which is so-so gorgeous, I highly recommend. But, besides the shimmering eye shadow, I’ve re-discovered some of my festive-appropriate eye liners. And my top two were:

Sparkling Eye Liners I Am Loving Illamasqua and Rouge Bunny Rouge

Rouge Bunny Rouge Quartz Eyeliner Devotion Ink in Tanzanite Essence (review and swatches)

Illamasqua Precision Ink in Wisdom (review and swatches)

They are just  extremely beautiful. Both are easy to control, have a gorgeous sparkling effect and nice pigmentation.  Wisdom is described as

New Year’s Eve Makeup. And Happy 2014!

I don’t get a lot of occasions to dress up and do full-on glamour. So today seems like a perfect night for that. And I am thinking shimmer, even glitter on the eyes.

Makeup for New Year's Eve 2014 glitterI am not exactly a fan of anything like that but today I am feeling super festive, so why not? Plus I will be at the party with my whole family and a lot of friends. So, bring it on!

Not only I plan to have glittery eye makeup, but also false eye lashes.  Since I will have so much going on the face, I will probably wear a minimal classic black dress. Otherwise, it will all be over the top.

I haven’t yet planned what exactly I am going to use, but maybe these products.

Make Up For Ever A Midnight Dream Makeup Collection for Christmas 2013

Christmas/New Year  holidays – the season for some glamorous and festive makeup!  I am personally not exactly a fan of glitter and shimmer but I don’t mind a bit of it on such occasion.

Luckily, beauty brands offer tonnes of appropriate products to choose from.

If you are feeling brave you can re-create the look from the promo image from the new Make Up For Ever’s collection –  A Midnight Dream.

If that is too much, go for a subtle version of it, several crystal would be enough.
