Happy St. Patrick’s Day

This year I’ve decided to celebrate St Patrick’s Day properly. I am wearing my Guiness t-shirt and green jeans.  I know, I know. And also green eye shadows and nail polish. And, yes, I am also going to the party this evening. Bring it on!

Since it’s all about green, I thought I’d share my favourite green nail polish – Illamasqua Viridian, and eye shadow – ArtDeco 247.

My Top 5 Favourite Beauty Products From Illamasqua

I’ve been thinking about this new feature something like “My Top Beauty Products From My Favourite Brands” for some time now and I thought five would be a good number…

I’d like to start with Illamasqua, as it is one of my favourite beauty brands, as you may know. And that is for many reasons that I have previously explained.

I won’t lie, it was very hard to pick up only five products as I own a lot of Illamasqua. But, after a lot of consideration, here they are!

Cream Blusher in Rude

This is the first product from the brand that I have tried and I still love it, the formula and the colour are great, I also really like the design. To read a full review and see it applied, click here.

Pure Pigment in Berber

Of course, this one had to be included,  Berber is a stunning auburn shade with shimmer, it looks gorgeous on the eyes and is actually more wearable than you may think. See it also here.

Nail Varnish in Viridian

This nail varnish is my top three nail polishes that I own, it’s a perfect dark green/blue, spot

My Top 5 Nail Polishes for Autumn/Winter

I’ve decided to show you my “Top 5” nail polishes for Autumn/Winter. It was actually very hard to choose only five, but these are definitely my favourites.

Rimmel Blue Vogue

One of my favourite nail polishes. It is a sophisticated dark blue with subtle shimmer. I adore the wide brush, the formula and the staying power. Here is me wearing it on the nails.

Illamasqua Viridian

It is probably my favourite nail varnish out of all that I have! The formula, the shade and the staying power are fantastic! I don’t think I could love it more. Maybe if the brush was wider… You can see me wearing it here.

Revlon Red

I had to include a

Nails Of The Day: Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Nomad

Recently I received several products from Illamasqua’s SS 2012 Human Fundamentalism collection so today I want to show you the nail polish in Nomad.

I love Illamasqua nail varnishes and this has to be one of my favourites. I absolutely adore everything about it!

The colour is just perfect, a beautiful jade creme finish which is opaque with only one coat. The formula is lovely, it goes on smoothly and is non-streaky; Nomad looks amazingly beautiful on the nails!

This may be

Want It: Barielle Myrza’s Meadow Nail Polish

Lately I’ve been into nail polishes more than I should be. Last month I’ve got 13 new nail polishes, and for someone who used to have only three, that is a lot. The worst thing that I want more and more, and more.

Right now I have RGB, Julep, Rescue Beauty Lounge, Zoya (yes, I haven’t tried Zoya yet), Leighton Denny, Nails Inc (yes, I know), SpaRitual, Nubar (really) and I could go on my ‘to try list’. But on top of my wish-list is Barielle’s Myrza’s Meadow.

I’ve been wanting it ever since it launched which was in Spring 2010. Have no idea why I still don’t have it. Will have to get it as soon as possible.

By the way, since I am so into nail polishes, there will be a special nail polish section in the Spring’s Magazine 🙂
