Here is the swatch of one of the prettiest nail polish shades for Autumn/Winter season – Lancome Vernis in Love in 453 Infusion de Prune.
It is a beautiful glossy plum which is a bit lighter than most vampy & gothic berry/plum shades, it is a classic colour I would say.
I am in love with Lancome’s wide brushes, they are a pleasure to use, plus it is always fast and mess-free.
This nail polish goes on smoothly and is opaque with one layer. The staying power is also nice.
You get 6 ml for £12/$15 which I personally like as I never finish big bottles of nail polish anyway.
Infusion de Prune is a limited edition shade which was released as a part of Autumn collection, so get it while it’s still available.
It’s amazing how much the quality of the lip products is improved now, long lasting liquid lipsticks is the new thing.
So today I want to show you Lancome’s L’Absolu Creme de Brillance (£21/$29.50) which is basically a very pigmented creamy lipstick.
The shade that I have is called 300 Magie Pourpre and it is a full-on deep fuchsia, very beautiful. Your lips won’t get unnoticed with this product on, for sure.
I love all Lancome lip (and not only) products that I have tried and this one is not an exception. Although it is very pigmented and stays on nicely, it feels amazing on the lips, very soft and smooth. In fact, you can’t really
I have quite a few red lipsticks and I do love a good red! Today I want to show you one of my favourites.
Lancome’s L’Absolu Rouge (£21) in 160 Rouge Hypnose is simply perfection! This has to be my favourite lipstick that I’ve tried recently (apart from Lush, will tell you about it later).
I really love the design, in fact, I think this may be my favourite luxury lipstick design. It is very elegant and classic, the magnet on the cap is a great detail, too.
The texture and the shade are fantastic! L’Absolu Rouge is soft and smooth, applies like a dream and gives a beautiful colour pay-off.
Rouge Hypnose is not a very bright in-your-face-red and at the same time it is not a sheer, barely-there balmy red. This makes it a perfect lipstick both for day time and
When I saw the Le Gris L’wren nail polish by Lancome for the first time, I knew that it had to be mine.
It is a truly beautiful shade and I always get compliments when I am wearing it. The fact that I’ve got compliment from a manicurist who has pretty much all the shades I can think of speaks for itself.
I would describe this colour as a grey on a blue base. It is opaque with one shade. I like the brush and the application and am happy with the quality in general. This was a LE but you may be able to find it on eBay probably.
I have to say that I love the nail polishes from this year’s holiday collection by Lancome, too. Black and red are the colours I can never get tired of.
I already told you that I love the Lancome gift sets and I often try to get some for myself. Here is the set which a friend of mine bought for me last year in the US. You may think what’s the point of writing about it if it’s not available – it’s because you can see the swatches of 9 Lancome eye shadows and then buy them separately if you like the colours and you can also find out about the quality of the shadows.
The shades which I got in my set are:
- Snap – very beautiful mauve shade, one of my favourites
- Waif – matte ivory, close to my skin tone
- Daylight – matte white
- Colur du Jour – the prettiest colour ever, this is one of my favourite eye shadows from my whole collection. I’d describe it as pinkish purple with delicate gold shimmer
- Pose – metallic bronze
- Filigree – shimmering ivory
- Statuesque – matte black
- Guest List – deep warm chocolate
- Designer – beautiful shimmering khaki
I am not really good at describing colours but I’ve tried my best.
What about the quality of the eye shadows?
I find them all
