Lancome Bronze Azure Summer 2011 Makeup Collection
Take a look at the beautiful Lancome Bronze Azure Collection for summer 2011. I have information about the US release so far and, as you know, their summer collections by Lancome are a bit different with those that we have here.
But I guess US readers will be happy to see it anyway as it is very pretty and I would like at least several products, especially I am interested in Le Stylo Waterproof Long Lasting Eye Liner.
So this collection includes:
Color Design Palattes, $42
- Molten Shore – A cool palette with shades of beige, teal, metallic plum and brown
- Heat Wave – A warm palette with shades of soft gold, peach, copper and brown
Le Vernis in Sarong, $19
Desert Rose Blush Subtle Shimmering Blush, $ 40
Desert Rose is an all-over powder that gives a subtle shine. A new mix between shaded tones of summer bronze, berry red, soft rose and light pink. Apply with powder Brush, mixing all the shades for an all-over glow.
Color Fever Gloss, $26
- Paradise Peach – Soft peach with golden shimmer
- Heatstroke – Spiced pink-y taupe with
Top 5 Makeup Products: Chanel, Lancome and Korres
This was supposed to be a guest post for one blog which was never published so I though I’d share it here. I had to pick 5 must-have products that I can’t live without. I’ve written this post in June but I still agree with everything that I wrote even if it was month ago. Only my under-eye concealer preferences are changing from time to time.
1. Lancome Hypnose mascara
Unfortunately my natural lashes are thin and quite short so I can’t live without a good mascara. Hypnose by Lancome works miracles for me. Sometimes I even get asked if I am wearing false lashes!
2. Chanel Glossimer in Mica
Glossimers are my favourite glosses of all times. I absolutely love the formulation of this lip gloss which is pretty thick and some may even find it sticky. I have a lot of different shades but Mica, a light pink with shimmer, is my must have.
3. Lancome Le Crayon Khol in Brun Noir
Amazing
Christmas Gift Guide: Lancome Gift Sets
Lancome always has amazing gift sets and gift with purchase every holiday. Last years I got a lot of their holiday sets for e.g the Deluxe Brush Set which is also available this year but in different colour. I already got myself the nail polish from their holiday 2010 collection and plan to get some sets as well.
Here are just some sets that I personally think are great, they are both from the UK and the US websites. But I don’t want to overwhelm you and myself (the more I write about holiday sets, the more I want myself) so I’ve chosen only 4 sets and all of them are makeup, no skincare or fragrance this time.

Create Christina Hendricks’ Emmy 2010 Look
Christina Hendricks looked beautiful at the Emmy’s 2010 and I’ve got the details about her look. This look was created by Make-up Artist Vanessa Scali and was inspired by Mia Farrow’s Daisy Buchanan from “The Great Gatsby”
Face
Vanessa prepped the skin with Lancôme’s La Base Pro makeup primer. To perfect Christina’s already luminous skin, Vanessa used the new Teint Miracle Lit-From-Within foundation . “It has an amazing transparent quality that leaves the skin looking flawless and luminous without being shiny,” said Vanessa. “I applied it with a brush and then blended with my fingers.” Blending with her fingers heated up the foundation a bit, allowing for a seamless finish. Vanessa followed with Effacernes Concealer under the eyes, her “all time favorite concealer.”
For a fresh pop of color I used Blush Subtil Shimmer in Shimmer Pink Pool on the apples of her cheeks. Dabs of Giorgio Armani Beauty’s Fluid Sheer #2 highlighted Christina’s cheekbones.

Lancome L’Wren Scott Collection for Holiday 2010
Take a look at the holiday 2010 collection by Lancome. Looks like a perfect collection for a smoky eye and red lip. This collection is a result of collaboration between L’Wren Scott’s and Aaron de Mey. It should be available in November. Isn’t it just gorgeous?
