I was sent some samples from the young British brand Bagsy, and I am ready to share about the two lip products already.
Wow Lips Full Colour Chubby Stick in 02 Happy Days and Lip Velvet Soft Matte Lip Colour in 04 Living The Dream. Both are very girly, pretty and Spring-like shades of pink.
The first thing you notice when it comes to Bagsy is the absolutely gorgeous packaging which is unique for every product (there are maximum 4 shades in each line), it helps to create the mood for a particular shade. And, although the pinks I have here are not my personal favourite colours on myself, I can totally appreciate the floral and feminine print, for some reason it also makes me think of ballerinas.
Besides the design, you just can’t help but fall in love with the quotes they’ve printed on each packaging. We have enough of negativity in life already, so makeup should bring a smile on our faces, and Bagsy products do exactly this. And, yes, EVERY girl deserves to be pretty today!
Since we were talking about lipsticks yesterday, I thought that’d be a good idea to share about the lipstick which is a part of Clarins’ Autumn collection.
I was sent Rouge Eclat in the shade 22 Red Paprika (there is also one called 21 Tawny Rose).
Clarins lip products are fantastic, and Rouge Eclat is not an exception. It feels amazing on the lips, almost like a lip balm but with an intense colour. According to the brand, it protects against dehydration, and boosts collagen. And in reality Rouge Eclat one of those lipsticks that feel comfortable on and stay on nicely, without any drying.
My friend who is not a lipstick wearer who tried this lipstick was impressed that the formula makes it really easy to apply the product as it glides on and doesn’t make a mess.
One more thing that
I had to get the new Kate Moss matte lipsticks for Rimmel which are new for Autumn. I really love the original Kate Moss lipsticks so had high hopes for these.
I have got the berry 107 shade (surprise-surprise). And, oh my goodness, it is awesome!
First of all, the design is great, you can never go wrong with red and black, in my opinion.
They go on smoothly, the colour applies evenly and opaque with only one coat. Although this is a matte lipstick, it does not look very flat and chalky on the lips and does not dry them out. The staying power is decent, as well.
Here is how it looks like on the skin.
It is a beautiful berry colour which is not very dark and will be perfect for those who want to embrace such shade but
I like all Rouge Bunny Rouge lip products but this one is probably my favourite one so far (besides the lip balm).
It is a Sheer Lipstick Succulence of Dew. The shade I have is called Tongue Tickles which is described as sheer, shiny pale carnation pink with a white shimmer.
I really like the light and hydrating formula which easily glides on and does not enhance dry patches one may have. It actually makes the lips look and feel softer and smoother as it contains Manoi butter, Hop Extract and Vitamin E.
This lipstick has a subtle but nice scent which I personally like. As the name suggests, Sheer Lipstick Succulence of Dew gives a beautiful sheer shiny coverage which is perfect for a
Rouge Bunny Rouge Colour Burst Lipstick Hues of Enchantment in Scrumptiously Devious Review and Lip Swatches
Rouge Bunny Rouge Colour Burst Lipstick Hues of Enchantment comes in a beautiful black and white classic design.
The shade that I have is called Scrumptiously Devious and I’d say that it is very unique. It is a pinkish lavender with warm golden/peachy sheen to it. Or this is how I see it at least… (Actually Zuneta discribes it very similar). This shade is really wearable and would suit a lot of women. However, I personally like it much better on my slightly tanned/warmer skin.
On the lips it feels very comfortable, light and non-drying. It glides on easily and gives a beautiful polished sheen. You could built up the colour or blot it with your fingers to leave just a hint of colour as I love it myself.
Believe it or not, but I do think that it leaves my lips soft and hydrated. But please keep in mind that mine are in a good condition (at least now) to begin with.
RBR say that this lipstick is enriched with Vitamin E, botanicals such as Orchid Flower Extract, Meadowfoam, Manoi Butter or Inca Inchi Oil depending on the finish of the lipstick.
