Aromatherapy Associates & Holistic Silk Relax Eye Mask Review. Rave
I had a Holistic Silk Relax Eye Mask on my wish list for a very long time but it was very hard to justify an almost £50 price.
But when I saw that several months ago Aromatherapy Associates were giving away an amazing gift with purchase with this mask, I just went for it.
So what is so special about this mask, anyway?
It is a lightly cushioned eye mask that has dried lavender inside. Plus, the velvet lining feels soft and nice against the skin and blocks the light. Not to mention that it looks incredibly beautiful. Yes, when you pay this much every little thing matters.
This sounds like a
Spring 2014 Makeup Collections: Tory Burch, Michael Kors and Aerin
My friend from the USA kindly agreed to get some (beauty) products for me, so I am browsing all the shops I can think of, trying to find any hidden gems, that are hard to get here, or that are a lot cheaper in the States.
While I was browsing, I’ve realized that there are a lot of new beauty brands that are released teamed with Estee Lauder. Such as Michael Kors , Tory Burch and AERIN (Aerin Lauder).
And here is what those brands offer for Spring 2014. Is there anything I have to get?
Michael Kors released three sets (each is $32 at Macy’s)
- Glam Collection Lip Luster & Nail Gift Set: a full-size lip luster in Scene-Stealer and a full size nail lacquer in Curtain Call
- Sporty Collection Lip Luster & Nail Gift Set: a full-size lip luster in Prima Donna and a full size nail lacquer in Limeligh
- Sexy Collection Lip Luster & Nail Gift Set: a full-size lip luster in Rising Star and a full size nail lacquer in Encore
AERIN brought out new line of lipsticks and I was surprised to see several dark shades, which I’ve included in the photo above. There are
New Beauty Purchases: Phyto, Rituals, Kneipp, Kerastase, Philip Kingsley, Roger & Gallet
Sometimes when you have a lot of beauty products, it can be hard to get excited about them. But I am uber happy with my recent purchases, as I’ve hand-picked them all after hours (literally) of browsing various on-line shops.
There are actually more products that I plan to get soon, so stay tuned.
Since I’ve used up several body creams, I’ve decided to get some new ones, but I’ve limited myself to two only, since I still have more than enough. Rituals Shanti Chakra Caring Body Oil Spray (£13.50) and Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figuier Body Lotion (£9.10) really caught my attention. What body products are your favourites? Any recommendations?

I wanted to try PhytoNeutre Clarifying Detox Shampoo (£10.50) for a long time already, as heard a lot of great things about it, and needed a new
My Top Three Picks: Best Hand Cream, Volume Shampoo and Hydrating Serum
I’ve decided to make a feature on top three products, in my opinion, in different categories. Holy Grail, if you wish.
Although I love trying new products, I am sure that I will be re-purchasing these ones in the future. In fact, I have already bought a second bottle of the serum.
Best Volumizing Shampoo – Sahajuan Volume Shampoo
This is definitely the best volumizing shampoo, among those that I have tried. This was an impulse purchase, although I usually research before I buying beauty products. And I am so happy that I’ve got it.
It gives nice volume without feeling heavy or weighting the hair down, plus I find that my hair looks shiny with it. As I’ve already said – I will be getting more products from the brand in the future.
Best Hydrating Serum Clarins HydraQuench Bi-Phase Serum
This product is a skin saviour in
