After writing about my favourite mascaras, it’s time to share about the ones which are currently on my wish list. The ones which I will be trying next and, although there are a few that I would like to try, I’ve been strict with myself and chose only 3, and here is which ones and why.
Before we start I just wanted to mention that I do not like “natural”/barely there lashes, gimme the full on dramatic lash even in the morning. And all three seem to be perfect for that.
I think this
In a second feature for the mascara week I thought it’d be great to talk about two hyped up mascaras and share my impression about each. Spoiler alert: I am a huge fan of one and really dislike the other, no matter how much I’ve tried to like it. One more important thing – I have tried both mascaras not only on myself. I’ve also paid for both.
Here we go…
This mascara is absolutely brilliant, it lives up to the “Superhero” name. It is an all-in-one formula, your lashes are instantly transformed. We are talking ultra black, long and super voluminous results.
I’ve also read that this product contains “lash-lifting polymers, volumising collagen, strengthening biotin, proteins and peptides” to condition the lashes. I am a huge effect of this mascara as it is so that is like a great bonus.
You get great fabulous results with any sorts of lashes but if yours are
Quite a few brands famous for mascaras launched additions to their ranges, and we are talking about Lancome, YSL (The Shock) and Dior. And I have reviewed at least one from each brand in the past…
But today let’s take a look at two mascaras I haven’t mentioned yet.
“A super-volumizing squeezable mascara with a fully loaded brush for instant, extreme lash volume. By pumping the soft tube, you’ll coat the brush and soften the creamy, rich mascara formula inside for a perfect, fresh application, every time”.
“A high-volume mascara that delivers bold lash volume for up to 24 hours. Features a large brush and an ultra-creamy formula that glides onto lashes like silk and delivers up to 12 times the volume with up to 24 hours of wear”.
I am actually trying out quite a few mascaras now, so expect to see the reviews in the future.
My name is Marina, and I am mascara snob. Although most make-up artists and beauty writers say how mascara is the product to save on, this is not for me. After all mascara is one of the most important products in my makeup bag, so it has to be perfect. And YSL Faux Cils meets all my requirements.
This lill’ gem does not need an introduction, a cult classic for a reason, it gives you phenomenal lashes, hence the name. You get ridiculously -long-touching-your-eyebrows lashes which are voluminous and ultra-black, too. On me this mascara stays on pretty well, without smudging for the whole working day.
And that is not to mention that it comes in the gorgeous YSL gold packaging. And although I am the biggest fan of black you will ever find, I still think that YSL’s gold feels more luxurious. And, yes, when you pay a lot for
Here is a yet another weekly update of the new products for face, lips and eyes that caught my attention featuring matte Gucci lipsticks, super colourful YSL mascaras and cushion blushes from Lancome.
Gucci Lip Sensuous Deep-Matte Lipstick, $40 from Saks.
” New contemporary formula with a lightweight, smooth feel and an extreme matte finish. The intensely deep colors are brought out by the rich, concentrated pigments. The combination of the bold color and supple finish are unexpected and are designed to instantly change the wearer’s look. ”
There are 12 shades to choose from.
“Revolutionary intense, super shiny color for lashes. The
