I just love reading the posts and watching videos about favourite products of the year! So, as promised, here is a list of mine.
This year I’ve decided to choose only the most favourite products! I will not post products in ‘each nomination’, just those that really stood out to me.
So here is part one – eye products.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Long Lasting Eye Shadow in Bejewelled Skylark
Definitely my favourite eye shadows of 2011! Soft, pigmented, long-lasting, easy-to-work-with; the colour is gorgeous, I love such shades for an every day look. I found myself reaching for this product over, and over again. You can read full review with swatches here.
RBR are releasing some new shades of their eye shadows and I can’t wait to see them!
Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Berber
This pigment is one of my favourite Illamasqua products ever! I was extremely excited when it launched, the colour is really beautiful, unique, not boring but totally wearable. Not only the colour is amazing, the quality is supreme, too. Read more here.
Berber is on the left, on the right Urban Decay Heat
Hourglass Calligraphy Liquid Eye Liner
This has to be my favourite eye liner of the year. Easy to use (even if you are a beginner), true black colour and great staying power! What else to ask for?

Read MoreDo you know that Benefit’s Ceaseless Cream Eye Shadows have won a lot of awards? Some of them that are mentioned on their website:
- 2008 Self Healthy Beauty Award – “best eye shadow”
- 2008 Star Beauty Awards – “best eye shadow”
- 2008 Real Simple: Beauty & the Best – Top 20 beauty buys “best eye shadow”
And you know, I would give this product a lot of other awards because these are the best cream eye shadows ever.
So far I have only 2 shades but I will get them all. Why don’t I get them all at once? Because I get them as a small reward for myself. This is just my little secret on how to do some things that I don’t want to do. I get myself something nice after I’ve accomplished my task.
But back to the shadows. This time I am going to tell you about the shade called Stiletto, described as aubergine, which is just perfect for this Fall. My other shade Busy Signal is described as venetian brown and can be found here.
So why do I love it SO much and the swatch

1 and 2 – Illamasqua’s Precision Inks in Abyss (deepest black) and Alchemy (antique gold). It’s easy to use them, the colours are rich and pigmented and they stay on forever. You can read the detailed review and see the swatches here.
3.Guerlain KissKiss Gloss in Crystal Pearl 800, shimmering iridescent pink.
I’ve been using this gloss all the time and got a lot of compliments and so many people asked me about the colour. Pale sparkly pinks are my favourite lip glosses so no wonder that I like this one so much. The formula is quite thick and moisturizing. Keep in mind that it’s a scented gloss. Crystal Pearl is beyond gorgeous and it reminds me of my favourite gloss of all times – Mica by Chanel. Detailed review coming later.
4. Rouge Bunny Rouge Decadent Duos Joys and Desires in Rumba Cubana.
This is a nice product which is a liquid blush and a lip gloss. I love multi-purpose travel friendly products and this is one of them. The lip gloss is lovely but the blush is just amazing, I am totally in love. The formula is not heavy at all and it’s easy to
Read MoreHello, ladies! I hope you are having a great weekend so far! Today I would like to review a False Lash Effect mascara by Max Factor. I find Max Factor mascaras absolutely amazing, and I’ve tried several of them and already reviewed 2 of them for you:
Lash Extension Effect mascara – review
Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara - review
But back to False Lash Effect mascara:
“Why fake it when you can get a false lash impact with your own lashes? New False Lash Effect Mascara doubles your lash size* with the impact of false lashes without the fuss. It’s this season’s make up artist must have. The secret is in the lash boosting combination of Max Factor’s biggest brush ever combined with patented Liquid LashTM technology. Now with every volumising coat the big brush sweeps right to the tips giving your lashes fullness and head turning attitude. The result is 100% impact. 100% you.”
*thickness volume, appearance vs bare lashes
So this is how the mascara looks like:
I know that so many Make-up Artists and other women love this products so I was very excited to try it myself. I’ve been using it for several months already so it’s time for a review.
When I just opened this mascara I was a bit shocked because of the brush wich was so huge with short bristles around it. I’ve never had any similar brush to this before so it was a bit uncomfortable to use it. But I always say that you have to give each mascara two weeks to make any conclusions. After some time of practice I’ve used to the brush and the results I got really impressed me.
Probably the best
Read MoreI already wrote some reviews about Inglot eye shadows but never wrote about their palettes. So what about them? The coolest thing is that you can choose how many shadows do you want and you can pick the shape, too! They have round and square shadows and you can get them in the set of 3, 5 and 10. You can also get lipsticks and blushes in different sets. Anyway, you can get everything you need at Inglot from false eyelashes to holographic lip glosses. But back to the shadows. I have different shadows from the brand but today I want to show you my set with 5 bright round shadows.
I’ve picked all the colours myself and I really love all of them. They don’t have names but do have numbers. So here are the numbers if you would like to get the same
- yellow 60
- green d.s 477
- orange 51
- purple d.s 494
- turquoise shine 33
If you don’t want to get the whole case you can get mono colours like this or Interga shadows like this.
And now my thoughts and swatches
