For this post I’ve chosen three looks: one with very dark lips one with classic glossy red and one with beautiful brown eye and nude lip.
And also two videos that really caught my attention this week.
One is from Guerlain which shows how you can use the products from their gorgeous Autumn collection. And the other one is from this super talented Mak-Up Artist. So far she has only two videos but I hope to see more in the future.

The first look is stunning!
Isn’t this girl just gorgeous?
And here is the look with
I have posted about BECCA’s BALEARIC LOVE collection a long time ago but the good news is that it’s already out finally.
Make sure that you check out BECCA’s Facebook page for photos and swatches. The products look even more gorgeous than on the promos. And I am very impressed to see such dark and gorgeous nail polishes from BECCA.
Here are also the details on how you can re-create the stunning makeup from the promo photo:
Prep skin with Radiance Primer followed by Boudoir Skin Mineral Powder Foundation for polished skin.
Pat Eye Tint in Romanticism onto the lid with the fingertips.
With Eye Colour Wash Brush #36, apply Eye Colour Powder Demi Matt in Marcella from the Balearic Love palette all over the eye, blending into the crease line and intensifying at the outer edges.
Using Eye Colour Blender Brush #35, sweep Eye Colour Powder in Romal from the same palette over the eyelids beginning at the lash line and stopping at the crease.
Accentuate the inner corners of the eyes with Eye Colour Powder in Atlas.
Rim the top and bottom lash-line with the violet side of Line and Define Pencil in Cabrera then smudge some Eye Colour Powder in Marcella along the bottom lash line for added depth.
Coat top and bottom lashes with
Some of you asked to share my makeup work with you, so here is one of the looks that I really like! It was supposed to be cat eyes and red lips but I have no idea what happened with me. I just started packing the black eye shadows on. I guess I was thinking about this look by Rouge Bunny Rouge.
But obviously it’s not so dramatic and more wearable, although I know that most of you probably won’t wear anything like this out so it is still a more editorial/fun look.
My friend is super gorgeous so it was fun making her up.
So here are the products that I’ve used on her:
- Make Up For Ever HD Primer
- Max Factor Foundation in Creamy Ivory, read my review here.
- Revlon ColorStay Concealer in Light, great affordable concealer, will write a review about it soon.
- BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl, this is my #1 highlighter, I’ve been promising you a review for ages now, I am sorry, will change it!
- Benefit Hoola Bronzer, for very light contouring, read my review here.
- Make Up For Ever HD Powder, read my review here.
Do you want to know what makeup trick I’ve been loving a lot these days? I love using eye pencil on the upper waterline. This trick makes a huge difference in your look!
All you need for this is a dark and soft eye pencil.Apply it on your upper water line, not on the lash line how you would usually apply the liner but on the water line. I know that it’s not the easiest and not the most pleasant thing to do but the results are worth it.
You can apply it on one eye and compare it with the other – you will be impressed!
So what’s the point of doing it?
You lashes will look blacker and fuller and the eyes will look more defined.
But, as I already said, make sure that you use a soft eye pencil that glides easily. It’s also nice to use a waterproof one that stays on for a long time.
