When I was a teen, I considered Max Factor mascara to be a proper luxury, I had to save money to get myself a tube. Although that was ages ago, but I am still in love with the brand’s mascaras. In fact, their latest one – Excess Volume Extreme Impact was very innovative and brilliant
But what about Masterpiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara?
It is actually phenomenal, I think. I have been using it for weeks now, and I am absolutely in love. It gives the most amazing effect – intense, dramatic ultra black lashes with impressive volume and fullness.
But I have to mention that this mascara gets a lot better with time when it dries out a bit, but I think that it’s the same for all the mascaras.
And what I personally appreciate the most – how long-lasting it is. It stays on really well, of course not as a waterproof mascara, but definitely better than any other mascara that I’ve used. My eyes are very sensitive and they are watering a lot, so I really appreciate it. It can be hard to remove it by the end of the day, but who cares?
The bendy rubbery brush has short bristles which distribute the product that way that it coats each lash and gives this dramatic effect.
I wanted to write a review about Ellis Faas’ Mascara for a long time already, so here is is finally.
It comes in a signature “bullet” design which all my designer friends rated very highly. I love the brand’s products a lot and always expect exceptional quality. And this mascara does deliver, in my opinion.
Here is, by the way, the image to support the mascara created by Ellis. Those are clearly false eye lashes and, unlike a lot of other brands, EF doesn’t claim that you will get a ridiculously long and thick lashes, that is just a creative and fun image.
But back to the mascara. I would say that it is a lengthening mascara and actually, I have just checked, it is described as a lengthening one. Not that is doesn’t give any volume but it is great at giving length and separation. And it is probably my favourite thing!
This mascara is not clumpy at all, even if I apply several coats, the lashes are defined but they don’t stick to each other, so I son;t need to comb through.
The other thing that I love is that Mascara is pretty long-lasting, it doesn’t smudge orRead More
While a lot of people say that if you want to save some money on makeup products – you should just get a cheaper mascara. Doesn’t work for me, unfortunately.
With my pretty short, thin and light lashes I need a miracle worker, and I haven’t yet found a low-priced mascara that would satisfy my needs for 100%!
Today I want to tell you about mascara that I have been using for the last several weeks and it’s Illamasqua’s Masquara in Raven.
First of all, I want to give some extra points to the brand for the coolest name ever, “Masquara” is a great choice. I also like the price - £15, which is cheaper than most mascaras that do deliver. And, yes, Mascquara does!
As for the product itself, there are certain things that I love and certain things that I don’t like that much.
It gives a very intense black colour which doesn’t fade during the day. The volumizing effect is pretty mind blowing, very impressive, the lengthening effect is also stunning. I don’t like natural looking lashes, I want drama, that is still day appropriate, and this is exactly what I get.
Just make sure thatRead More
End of September – end of November are very busy months for me in terms of Birthdays of very special people!
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I like to find out what the person wants to get. Sometimes I’d find out with the help of other people but sometimes I would just ask.
I’ve noticed that very often my girlfriends ask for a mascara makeup-wise. In fact, I had two mascaras requests last week.
I though that may be useful information as the holidays are approaching. And since almost every woman wears mascara, you can’t really go wrong.
Here is just a photo of some random mascaras that I’ve found in my personal makeup stash.

Hello, ladies! I hope you are having a great weekend so far! Today I would like to review a False Lash Effect mascara by Max Factor. I find Max Factor mascaras absolutely amazing, and I’ve tried several of them and already reviewed 2 of them for you:
Lash Extension Effect mascara – review
Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara - review
But back to False Lash Effect mascara:
“Why fake it when you can get a false lash impact with your own lashes? New False Lash Effect Mascara doubles your lash size* with the impact of false lashes without the fuss. It’s this season’s make up artist must have. The secret is in the lash boosting combination of Max Factor’s biggest brush ever combined with patented Liquid LashTM technology. Now with every volumising coat the big brush sweeps right to the tips giving your lashes fullness and head turning attitude. The result is 100% impact. 100% you.”
*thickness volume, appearance vs bare lashes
So this is how the mascara looks like:
I know that so many Make-up Artists and other women love this products so I was very excited to try it myself. I’ve been using it for several months already so it’s time for a review.
When I just opened this mascara I was a bit shocked because of the brush wich was so huge with short bristles around it. I’ve never had any similar brush to this before so it was a bit uncomfortable to use it. But I always say that you have to give each mascara two weeks to make any conclusions. After some time of practice I’ve used to the brush and the results I got really impressed me.
