Nail Of The Day: Max Factor Glossfinity Nail Polish in 85 Cerise

Max Factor Glossfinity nail polish in 85 Cerise was an impulse purchase  but I love it so much that I recently bought a second bottle, as I’ve used up the first one. And that says a lot, considering how many nail polishes I have, and red ones in particular.

It is a gorgeous glossy warm toned red which  looks opaque even with one coat. It is like the coolest accessory for your nails, it brightens up everything. As dramatic as it sounds – Cerise makes me feel incredible, and I never want to be without it.

I have mentioned it so many times but somehow never posted a proper swatch, so here it is. (I am also wearing it here)

LCN Speed Dry Top Coat Review

I wanted to try a new (story of my life with all those new products) top coat, and I’ve decided to get LCN  Speed Dry this time, as I’ve never tried anything from the brand before. And, as you could see from my April Favourites post – I really like it.

LCN Speed Dry Top Coat Review

I have been using it for several weeks already and here is what I’ve noticed – it does make the nail polish dry a lot faster. It also adds shine and gives you that “salon” manicure look. But my favourite thing about this top coat is that it doesn’t add that extra

Sally Hansen Insta Dri Top Coat Review

Now that I have been using Sally Hansen’s Insta Dri  for quite a long time, I want to share my impression.

I wanted to try a new top coat and decided to choose one from the brand. They actually had a lot of different options, but I’ve chosen this one, since I’ve heard good things about it. And also…I love red.

My Top 3 Blue Nail Polishes

Recently I was re-organizing my beauty products and realized that I have quite a few blue nail polishes. In fact, considering that I have around 100 in general, 14  is not a small number.

Actually I am not a collector [when it comes to lacquers] and try to make sure that I don’t have a dupe before buying a new bottle and the photo below actually proves my point. Can you see that they all are very different?

Blue nail polish orly, Collistar, Rimmel, Alessandro, Essence, Barry M, MeMeMe

So I have decided to show you my top 3:

Rimmel Lycra PRO Nail Polish in Blue Vogue

This is a gorgeous deep shimmering navy blue, such a chic and sophisticated shade, in my opinion.  I really love the formula which is

Summer Nail Polishes: Oranges, Corals and Peaches

I was asked about my orange/coral/peach nail polishes, so I thought I’d write about those.

But I have to warn you that I (and this is shocker for a lot of people, I understand) don’t really like such shades. I have managed to gather six and some of them are definitely no longer available. But this will give you an idea, I guess.

Orange and Coral nail polishes for summer

This post also made me look at my old nail polish features and realize that my photos/ manicure techniques have improved a lot, thank goodness.

Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Alarm

This is technically a red with a coral twist but I thought I’d include it anyway, as it is my favourite and I am so happy I got it. It’s perfect for summer time and I use it a lot, as you can see.  See it on the nails.

 Inglot Nail Enamel in 949

Bright true orange with a hint of very delicate shimmer that is visible in the direct sunlight. This is like summer in a bottle.

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in 36 Crushed
