I wrote about one nail polish collection that I wanted to get several months ago. I am sure that knows what I am talking about. And guess what? I could not find it!!! I contacted the brand several times via e-mail and twitter and got no answer. By the way, I was not the only one who did and we all got the same results. I don’t understand what’s the problem here.
But well, it’s not the only nail polish brand and I can always get what I want from the other one, you know. So this is what I did! I’ve picked 2 shades that I wanted from Inglot : lime green 318 and cream coral 949 . The brand has TONES of beautiful shades and I am so getting more of them!

The news about this collection were posted last week at Sephora’s blog and you will be able to get these new colours starting from second week of April. Each nail polish is $9.
I wanted to try Butter London for a long time already. This is what is written about the product:
“Butter London brings us non-toxic nail treatments and lacquers in an array of delicious shades. The hero product is the 3 Free line, which waves goodbye to typical (but nasty) ingredients such as formaldehyde, toluene and DBP. We love their on-trend shades and entertaining names!”
I read some reviews including these at. So now I was sure that I want to try it. But what shade? It was very hard to decide because they all looked amazing to me plus the names are great. At first I wanted to get Artful Dodger but I just decided to wait for Chanel’s Nouvelle Vague .
So Yummy Mummy looked liked a perfect shade to me. I’ve spotted some other shades that were calling my name but I when I try something for the first time I get only one product.
What were my thoughts now when I got it? First of all it’s the best nail polish design that I ever saw. I also love the name “butter London”. And in my opinion these are also important factors because now you can choose from so many brands that you should like as many factors about the product as possible.
What about the nail polish itself? I really liked the brush which is kind of small and thin. For some of you this is not the best thing to hear. But I love brushes like this because it helps you to apply the product neat and tidy. Often I do my manicure myself so this is very important for me. You get an opaque cover after you use it only once and it is one of the most important factors. But if you want to get the more intense colour – go for 2 layers.
How long it stays on nails? In my case the products started to chip on 3rd day (without top coat) but it still looked ok. But on the 4th day I had to remove it. Also I have to mention that butter London doesn’t stink like some polishes.

Zoya just publishes the information about their new Summer 2010 collection. I always wondered why this brand is called Zoya which is a women’s name for those of you who don’t know. So this is from the history from the brand:

All this story makes me want to try this brand even more but it is pretty hard to get it in Europe. This is why I contacted Zoya and they were so kind to give me some contacts were we, Europeans, can get their products! But back to the new collection Flash & Sparkle Collection for Summer 2010.

I thought that I should take a part in Illamasqua’s Hottest Nail Colour Competition.
Althought I am a big fan of red and coral nail polish there are too many shades like that so I thought about teal, lime green or turquoise. I even wrote a post about teal already but changed my mind.
My perfect nail polish would look like this:
Lime gree but not too bright (or neon) with tiny golden shimmer in it. I could not find a colour that looks like this but I love the colour of Mojito which is a lime green. I think this nail colour would be perfect for Spring!
I would love to see this colour on my nails
