Aromatherapy Rollerballs For Your Handbag: Aesop, Aromatherapy Associates and Origins

I love me a relaxing/anti-stress/calming/you-get-the-deal roller balls which I can carry in my bag.  And today I want to share about three which I am currently using.

Origins Peace Of Mind On-The-Spot Relief,  ($14 on the website) 15 ml  from Amazon UK and Amazon.

This is the most affordable one out of three, and it is my second tube of this gem. I also find that this is the strongest  one out of them all. Origins suggest dabbing some on the back of your neck, temples and earlobes.  And it has that instant calming and cooling effect thanks to the eucalyptus and peppermint. Some of my friends who were skeptical about it tried and were converted.  Unfortunately, the roller ball was a LE and it comes in a little bottle which is not as convenient (I had it before).

Aesop Ginger Flight Therapy, £23 from Cult Beauty, Selfridges,  Nordstrom and Saks

While I did get it for the flights I have to

Dermatologist Recommendations For Very Dry Skin in Winter

While I am still in the process of writing about my 2018 beauty favourites (better late than never?), I thought I’d share about my recent discoveries for the very dry skin in the winter time. These both are literally life/skin saviours for me!

And the products are SVR Xerial 30 Cream (Amazon, Amazon UK and Feel Unique) and Weleda Calendula soap (Amazon and Amazon UK)

Long time readers know that I have extremely dry skin but somehow I’ve never shared about the actual name of my condition.  I have a genetic skin disorder – ichthyosis. And often winter makes it unbearable.

But here are the products  my dermatologist recommended that make a huge difference:

The Soap. She warned me that it has a slightly unpleasant scent to some but I did not have any issues, and it’s totally fine for me. I really love the

Weleda Wildrose Deodorant Review

Natural deodorants have  been a huge thing lately. And not only in the beauty industry but among my girlfriends, too. And most of them could not be less interested in beauty trends.

While I am personally not about all organic “clean” products, I’ve decided to try the “natural deodorant”, as well. And while Malin & Goetz (Nordstrom, Net a Porter,  Space NK) seemed like the most popular and effective based on the recommendations I saw, I went for Weleda because… rose, obviously. I mean, gimme all the rose scented products.

On Weleda’s website we read that  with this deodorant “the  sweating process is allowed to continue its essential job, but the odour is inhibited” which sounds great but is it really that way?

One of my best girlfriends, who is like a spokesperson for Weleda and always raves about their products,  was not impressed with their deodorants (she uses baking soda or lemons now) but I’ve decide to try it anyways. Rose, remember?

So what are my impressions?

First of all,

Weleda Birch Body Scrub Review

I love a good body scrub! I always have at least three different options on my bathroom shelve. And today I’d like to show you the one that I’ve been really loving this hot  summer season. It is Weleda’s Birch Body Scrub.

Weleda Birch Body Scrub ReviewI left some water drops on the tube but it doesn’t look as good (if good at all), as I would like it to…

Why do I like this scrub so much? Mostly because of the scent,  the brand says it is birch leaf extract and essential oils (rosemary?). And I’d say that it has an uplifting and invigorating aroma, fresh and clean scent – very unisex.  I don’t know what it is, but it is one of my favourites; the kind of fragrance that makes you want to

Love It: Yves Rocher Mure Sauvage

I love such things as scents and music, as they help to evoke memories, and it’s almost like you can feel the same emotions and “re-live” certain events that happened in your life… It is one of my favourite thing, ever.

This is why I treasure my Yves Rocher Mure Sauvage Eau de Toilette so much. I have got it as a Birthday present from a very dear girlfriend five or even six years ago, and I still have my bottle. Now they have a different design.

Yves Rocher Mure Sauvage shower gel and fragranceThis fragrance is, obviously, nothing complicated or long-lasting, but that doesn’t matter. It makes me smile whenever I wear it. Plus I
