I was asked about my orange/coral/peach nail polishes, so I thought I’d write about those.
But I have to warn you that I (and this is shocker for a lot of people, I understand) don’t really like such shades. I have managed to gather six and some of them are definitely no longer available. But this will give you an idea, I guess.
This post also made me look at my old nail polish features and realize that my photos/ manicure techniques have improved a lot, thank goodness.
Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Alarm
This is technically a red with a coral twist but I thought I’d include it anyway, as it is my favourite and I am so happy I got it. It’s perfect for summer time and I use it a lot, as you can see. See it on the nails.
Inglot Nail Enamel in 949
Bright true orange with a hint of very delicate shimmer that is visible in the direct sunlight. This is like summer in a bottle.

These three vibrant nail polishes were released to celebrate the launch of Dior’s 2013 Cruise collection.
- Mango (438): A deliciously fruity and radiant yellow.
- Pastèque (658): A rich and sensual pink with an aquatic sheen.
- Lime (602): A sparkling acid green for colour block nails.
Each is £18. Which one do you like the best?
There is also a new nail polish collection from Le Metier De Beaute. The inspiration is “Ming [Dynasty] meets Modern”.

Here is the second nail polish from the MeMeMe nail polish set which I really like.
It is called Spirited and is a beautiful pastel peach with cream finish. I am sure that a lot of girls are going to love this colour for SS as it is so fresh and feminine!
On the photo I am wearing two coats of the nail polish and a coat of Seche Vite.
Can’t wait to try other shades…
