If you follow me on Instagram, you already saw the new seasonal products from Rouge Bunny Rouge. There is actually also a new shade of Brightening Eye Duo, too (which I forgot to include on the photo but I will be reviewing it). I have already mentioned Rouge Bunny Rouge Serene Light Skin Perfector in my October favourites, as it is my newest obsession make-up wise, so now it is time for the eye shadows.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Eye Shadow Palette Raw Garden in Caliche. This is the second colour variation in the Raw Garden collection, and here is a review of the first palette called Antigo.
Although I am always very careful with my makeup, I’ve managed to drop my palette on the floor. At least it looks artsy, or does it?
And while Antigo is a collection of nude shades, Caliche is all about the muted purples and lilacs, here are the official descriptions:
The brand describes this shade as “cool, dusky sugar-frosted plum, iridescent with pink shimmer”, and as usual it is a very complex shade that doesn’t look flat or boring when applied on the
I think I have already told you several times that I am curious about how I’d look like with green eyes. In fact, my father and pretty much everyone in his family, including my cousins, have green eyes and blonde hair.
Luckily, these days it is easy to try both (new hair colour and even eye colour)…I actually did dye my hair blonde when I was 16, hello teen years! But have realized that I have never tried “changing” my eye colour. And I am talking about colour lenses here…
I am pretty sure that you know that the colour of the moment is Emerald Green, as reported by Pantone. Looks like it’s the perfect timing for trying the green lenses. For example the Acuvue 2 Colours by Johnson & Johnson which are available in a lot of colours, including Emerald Green.
One of the coolest thing about trying on the contact lenses is the fact that you can play with different makeup shades! Although, it is “just makeup” and you can use whichever colours you want, certain shades can make your eyes pop, so it’s worth knowing which ones.
When you look at the colour wheel,
The shades that I have are: Encounter, Caribbean and Burnt Sand.
Encounter is a sheer purple with a blue micro shimmer. This shade would look pretty on green eyes.
Caribbean is my personal favourite and it is a sheer aqua blue with very delicate shimmer. I just love the wash of this shade all over the lid with some black eye liner and a lot of mascara.
Burnt Sand is a metallic gold, the most opaque out of three. It is a very festive shade and would look nice paired with
Clarins recently launched a new range of eye shadows ( £16/$20) in 16 shades which are divided into four groups.
I actually did get three eye shadows to show you, so here they are. I have: 01 White Sparkle Illuminator, 03 Petal and 16 Vibrant Violet.
Although these are not the shades that I would choose for myself, I do like all three a lot.
01 White Sparkle is a silver glittery eye shadow which I personally use all over the lid with an eye liner and lots of mascara. It can be also used on top of other eye shadows. This is a great shade for Christmas actually.
03 Petal is a very beautiful satin baby pink that is a great all-over-the-lid shade, looks great paired with a dark shade in the outer corner. I think such shade would also look great on mature ladies.
16 Vibrant Violet is an iridescent violet with blue micro shimmer. It reminds me of the violet from this Clarins palette, so if you have missed it, you may want to pick up this eye shadow.
