Since we are talking about lipstick today, I thought I’d show you one that I have been enjoying recently, I’ve actually had it for months just did not get a chance to talk about it yet.
It’s Rouge Bunny Rouge Colour Burst Lipstick Hues Of Enchantment in Raw Silence which was used for the brand’s Autumn Santa Ana look.
It is not the only lipstick from the line that I have, I’ve already shown you Scrumptiously Devious shade.
As for Raw Silence, I think this is the coolest Rouge Bunny Rouge name ever, and a great choice for a red shade. It is an opaque (colour burst is a very appropriate name in this case) creamy and non-drying lipstick. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t enhance the dry patches, unless your lips are in a really bad condition. I do find this lipstick to be nourishing, as it is promised.
I would say that it is a classic red, not too bright but notRead More
This Luxury Matte Lipstick (£13.25) is the newest edition to Daniel Sandler’s makeup range. It is a part of his AW 2012 Escape to Hollywood collection.
I have already written about the Lava eye shadow here, so now it’s time for this gorgeous red lipstick which is called Red Carpet.
I am a huge fan of matte lipsticks in general, so was excited about this one.
It applies smoothly, does not drag the skin and looks opaque with just one layer. With two you get an even more intense shades and it lasts for a longer time. This lipstick stays for hours and hours if you put on several thin layers.
Of course, don’t forget to prep your lips before applying Red Carpet, I’d suggest a lip scrub and a balm, as such red colour (and matte finish) demands perfect surface!
I would also recommend a red pencil with it if you are going for a define full-on look. You may also gently dab some product with your fingers for a stain effect. I have triedRead More
You don’t need a special occasion to wear red actually. But if you are too shy (or whatever reason you have) to wear it on a casual day – go ahead and wear it for the Valentine’s.
Speaking of Valentine’s – I used to hate is with a passion, but now I love that day. Why? Because it’s Makeup4all’s Birthday. This Valentine it will turn THREE years old which is unbelievable.
But back to the lipsticks. I have chosen seven variants of the lipstick that are not limited edition.
If I do a red lip – I like a bright deep matte or satin colour, but since not everyone would go for that I’ve also added a sheer version and a lip/cheek stain.
Let’s take a look!
So here are the swatches. I am not going to write anything as you can read all the reviews but clicking the links!

Along with the High Impact lipsticks by Daniel Sandler I’ve also got the Luxury Lipstick (£13.30) to try out.
I have a gorgeous shade called Temptress (love the name) which is a true and beautiful red.
I like the simple yet elegant design of the lipstick and the fact that the price is not as high as some other brands’ lipsticks.
It is said that Luxury Lipsick contains Folic acid lip and hyaluronic acid to plump and moisturize the lips. I have to say that I like the formula as it glides on easily and looks beautiful on the lips, it is not drying at all.Read More
This post is mostly for a friend of mine who is on a hunt for a perfect red lipstick! She is not really into makeup so I won’t tell her that sometimes it takes years to find your perfect red! Oh, wait, did I just tell her?!
She is looking for an affordable, matte and bright lipstick as she told me. So I thought of Rimmel’s Colour Show Off lipsticks which I love a lot.
There are 12 colours in the line and 2 of them are red. I had only Kiss Me so I got myself the Red Fever, too. (Now at least I can say that I got it to help a friend, not because I just wanted to get it )
I already wrote a review about this lipstick as I got a Pink Gossip quite a long time ago. So you can read my thoughts here.
So here are the swatches. Do you see how intense the colours look, these lipsticks are gorgeous! RedRead More
