It is my Birthday this Sunday so I though I’d get myself something nice. By something nice I usually mean luxury makeup.
I also wanted to try Shellac (better late than never right?) so I did get a manicure. A red one! I will write a post about it in 2 weeks. Now the only thing that is left – get my hair done but I can’t think of what I want. I don’t want any huge changes…
But back to the makeup. I wanted to get some Chanel and Guerlain but guess what? ALL products that I’ve wanted to get were out of stock!!! Unbelievable.
Most of all I wanted to get 2 shades from the Guerlain Spring range but the 2 shades that I wanted were sold out!
The shades are swatched in this order:
- 45 Orange Euphorique
- 24 Rouge
Here is a preview of Illmasqua’s SS 2011 makeup collection Toxic Nature which is all about colour: both pastels and neon shades. The promo images are stunning as always, I love the first one the best.
New Cream Pigment, £17
The Toxic Nature collection has spawned a wild spray of corrupted colours and poisonous pastels in an intensely colour-rich, crease resistant, matt formula that introduces a brand new product to the Illamasqua range.
Six neo-toxic colour mutations create the ultimate in textures on your face, eyes, lips or body. Apply with an Illamasqua brush or simply use your fingers for a buildable, water resistant, highly pigmented finish. Layer under Powder Eye Shadow and Pure Pigments for intensity.
Illamasqua Cream Pigment; camouflague by colour for the neo-generation.
- Dab, lilac with matt finish
- Mould, grape with matt finish
- Bedaub, mint with matt finish
- Delirium, rose taupe with matt finish (EU only)
- Hollow, toffee, with matt finish
- Emerge, peach with matt finish (EU only)
Toxic Nature Lipstick, £15.50
Two toxic tones, Atomic and Flare, have evolved our intense, highly pigmented Lipstick into the ultimate urban survival tool for the neo-generation. Glides on smoothly, creating lips that entrance.
- Atomic, Fuchsia violet
- Flare, Bright orange
Toxic Nature Sheer Lipgloss, £13

So here is a preview of Inglot’s Spring 2011 and it looks like that yellow and green (as well as blue and orange) are going to be huge for the SS 2011. The eye shadows look like a lot of fun, I also like the lipstick. I assume that the other products are blushes and the highlighter/bronzer which also look nice.
The only thing which I don’t like is the eye makeup – I wish the lashes looked more natural and the image was not so much edited.
Speaking of Inglot, I’ve got myself some new products which I really like and can’t wait to show you, so stay tuned!
So here is a preview of Tosphop’s Spring 2011 makeup range which will be in shops any day now. I personally like the look of the lipsticks, so bright and summery. I would also love to try the brown eye liner. In general I think this is a cute collection which is worth the attention.
