SS19 Lip Products: Lisa Eldridge, Laura Mercier, BITE Beauty, Tom Ford, Hourglass, Givenchy

Spring/Summer season beauty wise means new lip releases, so I’ve chosen the ones that caught my attention.  It is insane how the textures and the formulas improve all the time and we get more sophisticated lip products all the time. Just take a look at these innovative gems.

Laura Mercier Velour Lip Powder in Paris (shown) and New York £25 from Cult Beauty $28 from the Website, Nordstrom

A limited edition creamy matte lip powder trio with a metallic sheen. Comes with a moisturizing Base Balm to prep the lips. These look really cool, and I love the concept.

Lisa Eldridge lipsticks. The red ones sold out within a day(s) so I did not even have time to get any. But she promised a restock, and new nude and fuchsia shades (see below a pic of Eva wearing one of the new shades; pic is from Lisa’s Insta)!  I don’t know the date yet.

BITE BEAUTY Outburst Longwear Lip Stain, $24 from Sephora

Bite beauty lip products are incredible, and it looks like it’s another great one

Makeup Trend: 3-in-1 Gloss for Eyes, Lips and Face

A while ago I did a feature on eye gloss and today I want to share about the extension of that trend which is 3-in-1 glosses. Glossy/glass skin has been a thing in Asia for ages now but we are seeing it in Western beauty trends now, as well.  And I like it.

Here are just three products that were recently released which are specifically marketed for lips, eyes and face. While you can always use a good old Bobbi Brown Crystal Gloss why not playing with [hopefully] new textures?

Let’s take a look:

LAURA MERCIER Glacé Touch,  £23/$28 Cult Beauty, Selfridges, Nordstrom.

These are a part of the summer collection and come in 4 shades: Nomade, a perfect nude, Oasis a vivid rose, Laissez-Faire a clear shimmer or Dreamer a bronze shimmer.

Glacé Touch are promised to be a sheer, non-sticky gloss for  dewy, high-shine glowing finish.

The looks below, which I found on Pinterest (still obsessed with it), will hopefully inspire you to experiment with glosses, as well.

SS19 Palettes: Endless Orgasm by NARS and Glowgasm by Charlotte Tilbury

Do you prefer lovegasm or orgasm, that is the question. And, yes, we are talking makeup. Here are two new palettes which, I am sure, will  be a huge hit this summer. The colours are gorgeous and sex sells, after all.

Charlotte Tilbury’s Glowgasm Face Palettes come in two shades:  Lightgazm and Lovegazm  £60 from Cult Beauty. Later on from Sephora, and Net A Porter.

A compact with four products is everything you’d need to re-create that Tilbury’s trademark glow. Here are the promo images which show how the products suit all skin tones.

SS19 Blush Palettes: Chanel, NARS, Jouer and Benefit

We already had a preview of the upcoming makeup products such as lip lacquers, highlighter sticks, eye shadow palettes and human hair wigs.

So let’s take a look at cheek palettes, and there are quite a few, these are just the ones I’ve chosen.

Without a doubt, the most covetable palette of the SS19 season will be this lill gem from Chanel –  Voyage de Chanel (£52 from the website) which is  a blush/illuminating powders quad.

African American Wigs

  • Paris – A fresh and satiny pink blush that recreates the flush of brisk air of Paris along the banks of the Seine River.
  • London – A deep coral blush, inspired by the colourful façades of the Portobello Market in Notting Hill.
  • New York – A satiny powder that brings to mind the metallic golden finish of the Brooklyn Bridge.
  • Tokyo – A subtly rosy illuminating powder that recalls the poetic grace of cherry blossoms in Japan.

Besides Chanel, there are a few other gorgeous palettes to choose from:

SS19 Eye Shadows Palettes: Charlotte Tilbury, Viseart, MAC, NARS, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay

Let’s have a look at the new eye shadow palettes which are out for SS19. I did post about some of the lip products, so here are some of the new releases for the eyes.

You can’t go wrong with the slick NARS packaging and the quality of their eye shadows.

Urban Decay NAKED RELOADED Eyeshadow Palette, $44 from Sephora and  from Feel Unique.

UD new Naked palette looks gorgeous. No matter how many Naked palettes they bring out, they still manage to make them look hot! I have the original one, and the one with pink tones and, honestly, would not say no to this one. And it is the best present for
