I am absolutely loving this new Laura Mercier Belle Nouveau makeup collection for summer 2012. It includes some very gorgeous pastel shades.
Although I don’t really wear pastel shades myself, I’d love to play with these eye shadows, they look amazing.
Sheer Crème Eye Color, $22
- Aqua Pastel
- Grey Pastel
- Mauve Pastel
The baby pink and bright pink glosses – something I’d like to have, too.
Lip Glacé, $24
- Orange Tulip
- Lotus Blossom
Crème Lip Color, $20
Burberry Summer 2012 makeup collection Iconic Nudes includes five products, a limited edition compact for face and four new shades of the sheer lipsticks Lip Mist.
Sheer Summer Glow Natural Highlighting Compact, £34/$50
I really love the idea of the compact with four shades as you can use each one separately or mix them together. It can be used as a highlighter or bronzer depending on your skin tone.
Lip Mist £23/$30
- 210 Pink Heather
- 211 Nude
I think it’s about time I start telling you about Clarins summer makeup collection as I have already gave them all a good try.
I want to start with the Quartet & Liner Palette as it is the star of the collection (and my favourite) and I have been wearing it almost every day for the last two weeks.
Here is how it looks like, the flower on top is just beautiful. It also come in a red pouch which is handy for travelling.
Here is how the eye shadows look like and, unfortunately, mine are not that pretty any more as I have been using them a lot.
All the shades are pigmented and smooth and I also really love that they included a purple shade, too.
I have tried a lot of looks this this palette and my favourite one, surprisingly, is: the lightest shade, which actually hardly gives any colour but is very sparkly and glittery all over the lid and the eye liner together. It looks fantastic in the sunlight.
I also love
Givenchy makeup collection for summer 2012 is called Croisiere and it actually includes several products that I would really love to try.

I am very sorry that there were no posts last week. There were some major problems with the server and I was away for several days so could not deal with that.
I actually did schedule the posts for the whole week but they all were erased. I will try to re-write them at some point…
There is so much I want to tell you about but I will start with showing you what makeup I took with me when I was away. I personally really love such posts so hope you will enjoy it, too.
I am actually VERY impressed with myself as I did not take a lot of unnecessary products and packed only the essentials. I wanted to have at least some variety but without taking too much.
Here is what I took with me:
1. Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat. I always have it with me!
2. Mini High Beam from Benefit. I really love miniatures for travelling.
3. I always try to take foundations in small pots and the bottle usually takes a lot of space. This is Daniel Sandler’s Invisible Radiance Foundation.
4.BECCA Compact Concealer in Latte. I actually can’t believe that haven’t writtena bout it yet. Will have to do it soon.
5. Daniel Sandler Watercolour Creme -Rouge Blusher in Hot Pink. My must-have, adore it!
7. Clarins Bronzing Duo SPF 15 Mineral Powder Compact in Light. It is from the summer 2012 collection. Will write about it later.
8. Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. One of my favourite products ever.
1. Benefit Stay Don’t Spray primer. Great product, will write about it later.
2. Inglot AMC
