Top 5 Makeup Products: Chanel, Lancome and Korres

This was supposed to be a guest post for one blog which was never published so I though I’d share it here. I had to pick 5 must-have products that I can’t live without.  I’ve written this post in June but I still agree with everything that I wrote even if it was month ago.  Only my under-eye concealer preferences are changing from time to time.

1. Lancome Hypnose mascara

Unfortunately my natural lashes are thin and quite short so I can’t live without a good mascara. Hypnose by Lancome works miracles for me. Sometimes I even get asked if I am wearing false lashes!

2. Chanel Glossimer in Mica

Glossimers are my favourite glosses of all times. I absolutely love the formulation of this lip gloss which is pretty thick and some may even find it sticky. I have a lot of different shades but Mica, a light pink with shimmer, is my must have.

3. Lancome Le Crayon Khol in Brun Noir

Amazing eye pencil, it is soft and glides on smoothly, I never had any problems with this product. The shade is perfect: not too brown but not black, great for everyday look!

4. Korres Wild Rose Concealer

I don’t use foundation and powder on a daily basis, but concealer is a must! It completely changes the way I look. These days I love using Korres Wild Rose concealer under my eyes & love the illuminating effect that it gives. But if you have really dark circles I wouldn’t recommend you this, the coverage may be too light.

5. Chanel Joues Contraste in Orchid Rose

The first thing that I ever bought from Chanel was their Joues Contraste blush. And even today I think that these blushes are amazing because they last forever and the colours are great. Orchid Rose would look great almost on everyone and this is my favourite powder blush.

Well, it was interesting to see what I had to say several months ago.

I love Brun Noir too! I ahve now used it for 10 years….greatfor definition without being too harsh! 🙂
Love the chanel blushers so much too….i need to buy more!

  2. Nice post 🙂 I have to try out Glossimers someday. I think Lancome Hypnose is a great mascara too, actually I think all of their mascaras are good, if a bit pricey.

Chanel – its all a must have if you ask me. New Byzantine collection pre-fall looks amazing. The limited edition palette is going to be £150 in UK and only sold in boutiques. Have put my name on a list, but I may not get it.
