Urban Decay Book Of Shadows Vol 2. Review and Photos

We all are now waiting (ok, I am)  for the Alice palette from Urban Decay but why don’t we take a look at their Book Of  Shadows Volume II? This palette was $48 in the US and £24 in the UK.  I got my palette only last month but I am VERY happy with it. I love the design, the booklet with different looks (the purple one on the photo), the shadows, 24/7 liners  and primer potion. The best thing about it is that you can create so many looks with just a single palette and it’s the best product to get from Urban Decay if you’ve never tried their products before. Speaking of their products – I really love their Deluxe Eye Shadows and Revolution (red) lipstick and I will write about them soon.

This is how BOS 2 looks like inside: the mirror and the booklet.

So what about the products? You get:

Mirror and Booklet

16 Eye Shadows

  1. Perversion
  2. Gunmetal
  3. Ecstasy
  4. AC/DC
  5. Nylon
  6. Sellout
  7. Mushroom
  8. Sphynx
  9. Half Baked
  10. Twice Baked
  11. Midnight Cowboy Rides Again
  12. YDK
  13. Jinx
  14. Flipside
  15. Homegrown
  16. Misdemeanor

Primer Potion

2 24/7 liners

  1. Bourbon
  2. Zero

And this is how the shadows look with flash and without flash

So what do you think? What colour do you like the best? Do you have this palette? Do you want to get it? Are you waiting for Alice as much as I am?

I am sorry that there are no swatches. My camera is not the best one on Earth so  it’s hard to take normal photos. I guess I should think about getting the new camera just for the blog in the future. But there are lots of swatches of this palette so it’s not a problem to find them.

I am not sure if it will be easy to find this palette now so be sure to get Alice Book Of Shadows. Believe me, these palettes are worth getting them!

This palette really has some great eyeshadows but I don’t like palettes because there are always some colors that aren’t my style. And it’s the same thing with this palette. I don’t like 2 middle rows (5 of colors in these rows aren’t something I would wear). But, it’s really worth having this palette. I was thinking of buying one, it’s still available here in Croatia in Sephora, but I decided not to because I *really* don’t need another palette in my collection. :D

    Hi Vesna!
Do you remember the price for it in Croatia? I am REALLY interested.
I understand but that’s a lot to get for $48 so it’s ok if some colours are not your style ;). I personally love all the shades and I can’t wait to get my Alice BOS :)

I was yestarday in Sephora and I saw the last one on the shelf :D and they had some % off for it and now it’s 50$. It was 60$ before. :) It’s not that much indeed but since I don’t need it… :)

Thank you for the info! I got mine for ~ 50, too
And do you have Benefit in Croatia? What about the prices?
I love this brand a lot these days :)

  5. Vesna says:

No, we don’t unfortunately :( But still, prices are really high here. It’s just cheaper to buy it on-line, even with shipping. So, even if we did have Benefit I’d still buy it on-line.
We do have Too faced and Stila. That’s it. :)
I would really love if we had NARS here! I’m such a huge NARS fan! :D

I see! It is everywhere like that in Europe .
I liked Too Faced bronzers. And Benefit is AMAZING! I love ALL the products that I have from this brand and want MORE :) I don’t have that much from Nars (only several items so far) but I like what I have.
