Xen Tan Scent Secure Daily Protection. Does It Really Work?

I am not an expert when it comes to self tanners but all those that I’ve tried had not the best scent in the World. And I am sure that you all know what I am talking about. According to people who’ve tried a lot of self tanners – all of them smell like that.

As it is summer and lots of people  are using self tanners, I though it would be useful to share about this product – Xen Tan Scent Secure Daily Protection.

Xen-Tan Scent Secure Daily Protection is said to be an “oil-free hydration  and a companion for self-tan. Firming complex for face & body. Paraben-free.  It’s  perfect for locking out the unpleasant smells associated with any fake tan product.  Enriched with powerful ingredients and a firming complex which leaves skin feeling wonderfully nourished, lifted and firm. Smells of cucumbers and melon.”

Ingredients: Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide, Xanthan Gum, Dmdm Hydantoin, Sodium Metabisulfite, Lactic Acid, Fragrance (Parfum), Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-t-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Yellow 10 (Ci 47005), Blue 1 (Ci 42090), Red 40 (Ci 16035

I haven’t tried it so I can’t say if it works or not but if you did  – please share. The prices at different on-line shops are £20-£25.

  1. Have you tried the one from Lavera? The chemical smell is barely detectable, mostly it just smells like caramel.

  2. DrD says:

What is the SPF of that sunscreen? I commonly recommend SPF 50 or greater to reduce the negative effects of sun exposure on the skin specifically increased aging and skin cancer incidence. Usually make-up comes with SPF 15 or less.
