Peony Scented Beauty: L’Occitane Soap

While I am the biggest fan of rose-fragranced beauty products, my favourite flowers, scent-wise, are actually peonies.  And only recently I’ve realised that I should pay a better attention to the peony-scented products out there.

Especially considering that peony season, hello Instagram, is not that long.

This is why today I wanted  to share the peony themed beauty product that I am currently using and loving.

When it comes to peonies and beauty, the first range that comes to mind is Jo Malone’s Peony and Blush Suede . I’ve actually got a cologne  for my  darling mother for her Birthday when it  came out.

And the second would have to be L’Occitane’s Pivoine’s collection. I’ve had  a few products from the range, and liked them all but I’ve started using the soap recently. I’ve had it unopened for years, literally, and finally thought that it was about time I’ve started using it.

L’Occitane know their scents, and I am a fan of a lot of their ranges, the peony products are not an exception.

The soap itself is a pleasure to use, it doesn’t dry the hands out, smells lovely and looks pretty when you open it.  Could it be the second best thing to a bouquet of fresh peonies?

For some reason, I can only see the peony range at UAE L’Occitane website. But all their soaps are lovely (I’ve had quite a few in the past) so you can find them at M&S, John Lewis and Nordstrom
