I could not think of a better topic for a new feature than a red polish that I am currently loving. By the way, if you want to keep in touch and see regular updates, please follow me on Instagram, as I post stories a few times a week if not daily.
I do love red nail polish, there is nothing quite like it for me, beauty wise. And I have written about my numerous favourites over the years.
And today, as always, I want to proclaim my love for yet another red. This time is is from butter LONDON. This was actually one of the first premium nail polish brands I have discovered. In fact, you can read my interview with their Creative Director here.
Meet Smashing!, which is described, as a fiery siren red, and it is, indeed. It definitely packs a punch. Smashing,
Eyeliner + mascara and red nails are the most “me” makeup products. I feel my best when I am wearing good eye makeup and a good red nail varnish.
I have had a few favourites during the years, such as:
And now it’s time to share my favourite red of 2021 so far!
And it is…

I have always loved red but lately I have been obsessed with it more than usual(if that is even possible), I have been pinning and saving beautiful and inspiring pictures on Pinterest and buying red clothes, lingerie and accessories.
I am still on the hunt for the perfect red shoes though! But hopefully will find a pair soon.

I am the biggest red manicure fan ever, and quite frankly red nail polish is one of my favourite makeup product, it feels very me. And while I have been a huge fan of Max Factor Cerise, and used up 3 bottles of it, I’ve decided to treat myself to some high end red nail polishes.

But I’ve managed to find another red which I love as much, as Revlon. It is Marc Jacob’s Nail Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer in Lola. You can see it, freshly applied, here.
But on the photo below is manicure with Lola after a week, that’s why it doesn’t look i’t best! It is with a top coat, since without it the nail polish doesn’t last for the whole week. But still impressive, right? There are very few nail polishes that last that well on me.
I love this nail polish so much that I would talk about it with everyone who would listen, ha!
- Look at that design! It’s the coolest nail polish bottle I’ve ever seen. When I saw the promo photos for the first time – I knew that it had to be mine.
