Makeup4all Loves: Bade Anstalten Soaps

New week, new Makeup4all loves feature? This is all because lately I only want to share about the products which I do enjoy using. Hence today I am bringing you a review of a soap that I think is worth your attention. Can anything be more dull than soap, I can hear you asking… True! But hear me out.

With all the hand washing in the recent environment we all want something gentle and non-drying. So here is my personal discovery of 2021. Bade Anstalten soaps! I loved them so much that I had to repurchase straight away, as you can see. And with such
a variety of products on the market this kind of commitments means a lot.

Please meet the brand’s Cucumber and Mint Liquid Soap. I have bought loads of Danish beauty products recently, including from this brand, and have to say that it is the soaps that really stood out.

So what is so special about this particular product?

2022 Beauty Wish List. Part I

Here is my first Beauty Wish List for 2022. Now, how does it work for me?

Whenever I see that I am running out of a certain product (by the way, I have saved Beauty Empties on my Instagram), I start browsing that category. After all these years, I still get very excited about a new beauty product. And here are five that I plan on getting soon.

Sol de Janeiro Rio Deo Deodorant, £14 from here

Please don’t laugh but I’ve spent at least an hour browsing for a new deodorant I’d like to try. And then I discovered this. If it smells anything like the Bum Bum cream, I am all in.

Arran After The Rain Body Lotion, £16 from here

Makeup4all Loves: Givenchy Le Rouge Liquide

I am a huge fan of Givenchy lipsticks, and have been for years. Slick and sophisticated leather design with a rock n roll vibes? Yes, please! It is just very me. I have several Givenchy lip products, and last year a friend of mine very kindly gifted me Le Rouge Liquide. And it is love at first sight.

The formula is phenomenal. It is nothing like your average liquid lipstick which sucks the life out of your lips, feels dry and sometimes even looks crusty on! Le Rouge Liquide

Makeup4all Loves: Korres Black Sugar Showergel

I am a big fan of Korres shower gels and have been using them for years already. This is why today I want to share with you my love for their Black Sugar shower gel.

It smells divine. I do love a shower, and, as corny as it sounds, but for me it is not just about cleansing but also about time of recharging. Insert some “body care is self care” cringe-worthy slogans here.

I hate having too many similar products at the same time, as I do not like clutter. However, I have to have a few shower/bath/body products at the same time to switch them depending on my mood.

I have to admit that I was reaching for this shower gel more often than any other ones I’ve got. If I had to describe it in one word – that’d be “intoxicating”. It’s a warm and sweet fragrance with the top notes of oriental lily, caramel and heliotrope, heart notes of rose, black sugar and brazilin rosewood and, finally, base notes of amber, vanilla bean and tonka bean. Black sugar is decadent and indulgent, it is a perfect aroma for AW months.

The only thing with

Christmas Gift Guide: Fragrance Sample Sets

Although I am not doing gift guides this year, I still wanted to share a last minute idea of what to get. I can’t think of anyone who would not be happy to receive a fragrance sample set. It’s always great to discover new scents and, maybe, get a full size in the future.

I have, in fact, bought perfume samples many times, both as gifts, and for myself. Moreover, I may have asked for a set this Christmas!

Discovery collections would usually cost you about £20-£30, even when it comes to luxury brands. But please keep in mind the price of a full bottle. Not everyone would want to (or would have the budget to) spend £250 on a bottle of perfume (Hello, Portrait of a Lady). That is if they did love a specific scent enough to do that…

So, here we are, the sets I have chosen. Something for everyone: from a budget option and a niche company to well-known and established luxury perfume power houses.

Malin + Goetz Fragrance Discovery Kit (£22 from here)

While I have not tried their perfume just yet, M&G make some of my favourite candles, hence I am sure their fragrances are also top quality! You get 6 different eau de parfum samples to play with: bergamot, cannabis, dark rum, leather, stem and vetiver. There is also a discount code when buying the set via the website to be used towards a full sized bottle.

Maja Njie Discovery Set, (£30 from here)

I encourage you to read more about Maja Njie everything about the brand is just beautiful. And this is the set I would definitely want to try myself in the future. Included are 5 scents to try and a
