Bath Oils: Emma Hardie Moringa and Omorovicza Budapest

It’s that time of year again when the clocks have changed and it’s dark (and often miserable) outside. This is when bath oils become your best friend. The perfect indulgent, well-deserved way to unwind at the end of the day.

I’ve tried quite a few over the years (the REN Moroccan Rose Bath Oil remains a long-time favourite), but today I want to tell you about my most recent discovery – the Emma Hardie Moringa Luxury Bath & Shower Oil – and also give the Omorovicza Budapest Bath Oil an honourable mention.

So, what makes this product so special? It’s the fact that it’s three-in-one. As the name suggests, you can use it as a bath oil or apply it before hopping into the shower. The Emma Hardie website also says it can be used as a dry body oil, something I haven’t tried yet, but plan to as the weather gets colder.

As a bath and shower product, I find it leaves my very dry skin soft and nourished. The signature scent, a blend of orange, neroli, mandarin, jasmine and rose essential oils, is beautiful. It’s perfectly balanced: not too strong, not too subtle.

Overall, if you’re after a luxurious product in a glass bottle with lovely packaging that won’t break the bank, the Emma Hardie Moringa Luxury Bath & Shower Oil is a great choice. At £38 for 200ml, it’s excellent value for a high-end bath oil, in my opinion.

If you fancy taking it up a notch, Omorovicza is my go-to. I bought their Budapest Bath Oil for my husband last Christmas, a gorgeous blend of rosemary, sage, geranium, and chamomile. They’ve recently updated the design to a cleaner, sleeker look, making it even more beautiful. It feels like the next best thing to a trip to the Budapest thermal spa, all in the comfort of your own bath. Just be prepared to splurge, as it’s £56 for 100ml.

I’d love to know what are your favourite bath oils? I’m always happy to try new ones.
