Benefit Benetint Review and Swatches

Today I want to tell you about a famous Benefit product which is called Benetint and which is a rose-tinted lip & cheek stain. I love  cream and liquid products so it’s not a surprise that I loved this one. I also like that you can use this one for lips and cheeks, yay for multipurpose!

I have a mini sized Benetint which I got in one of the famous Benefit sets.

So how does it work on your cheeks?

Use several drops on your cheeks and be sure that you blend them very fast until they drie. The good thing is that it doesn’t move at all and stays on for a very long time. It also gives you a very natural effect. This is a perfect product for winter because it gives you the natural blush as  if you just came from a lovely walk in a snowy park (Oh, I can’t wait for such walks)!

How does it work on the lips?

The effect that Benetint gives reminds me of the bitten lips . I remember in some novels true ladies used to bite their lips to make them look red and pretty 😉 . So this gives you such effect as if you have a nice blood circulation. But , as many stains, it is quite drying so be sure that you use some kind of a lip balm before.

Did you know that…

“Originally created for an exotic dancer in the 1970’s, benetint has soared to cult fave status. It’s loved by celebs, makeup artists and gals around the world! This rosy glow lasts for hours.”

Conclusion?

I really like this products and want to get a full size of it. It’s a shame that I’ve never tried Posietint which is a poppy-pink tinted lip & cheek stain. I want to get a sample size first to see how it works for me but I am almost sure that I am gonna love the effect.

The price

£23.50/$28 for 12.5 ml / 0.40 US fl. oz.

  1. Oh I love lip and cheek stains! I haven’t noticed them drying out my skin though, but then again I use a heavy-duty moisturizer and in winter, a primer that is thick enough to stand up to -20 C. Well, at least as long as you don’t spend too much time outside. In summer I use one of the Body Shop lip n’ cheek stains, the #01(can’t remember the name), a nice vivid /natural/ colour. In winter I use Posietint cause I get waaay too pale for anything more vivid on my cheeks to look natural.
